Did this update possibly effect the auras of people not in the beta? My power seems to have gone up since I went to bed about 9 hours ago.

Well I updated the karma library on the main site with the new one I tweaked for the 'verse to avoid some weird stuff, this included some changes to some of the auras.

There, I circled the strangeness with a red circle (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
Oh and I am using Google Chrome 1.0.154.53 (Latest version apparently)

It probably didn't load fully.

Chrome will probably get fixed later. It's been stated plainly that Firefox is the target right now. Unfortunately, in my experience, Firefox is not the best development tool for javascript. It's much more lenient toward little javascript errors than IE and Safari are.

I ran into that the hard way myself, recently.

Grindfest dropped me like a bad habit - I just barely cleared the first round. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) On the other hand, it was fun, so that's all good. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

I'm sure that'd be one hell of a task to pull off. If it was going to be like that, the beta people would likely have been given dud accounts to fuck with to tweak out all the bugs as opposed to their real characters. Besides, I think he said that as long as no one makes any gains by exploiting a major bug or anything that this would just carry on through to the real thing when it launches.

So the lucky people get a headstart. But from what I've read, *credits* matter more than time anyway, heh.
