Done my 1H maging tests. The fastest is "Barrier Buckler" with scrolls, and the slowest is "Battlecaster Buckler" without scrolls.

I'd say holy, for that:
If elec is faster, the reason will be that an elec mage cures less; however, with 1h maging, if the gear is forged and scrolls are used, defense is gonna be enough, so the advantage of elec is gone.
Plus, compared to normal maging, the damage of 1h maging is very low and hence slows down the clear speed significantly. Holy compensates that by its proc, breached defense, that inflicts more damage to the mob; furthermore, holy has the most powerful T3, that really helps to cut down turns used and to boost the clear speed.

Don't go 1h mage for serious play. Compare to pure mage/pure 1h, it's less efficient. The style is for low-level to play in high difficulty with medium budget. Unless you do it for fun (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I think so. You'll get more EDB from off-handed weapon. In term of defensive, it's better than pure-mage for sure (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
But any hybrid-styles are just for fun. They still don't worth for serious play.

I tried DW maging before, but didn't collect the battle stats. The two wakis I used at that time were salvaged, and I don't have good hallowed wakis now.
