Look at it this way - energy drinks still need to drop somewhere. If not at the shrine, then somewhere else.

Now to decide whether to sell my stockpile of artifacts before the value crashes, or play the shrine lotto to get more energy drinks pronto.

Besides, if energy drinks really stop dropping altogether, that would make 0.83 the real quality of life quality of real life patch.

Today I'm struggling again with my randoms on POOFTER. It's been like this since the 0.82 patch and it's with the same monsters that usually show up. Sorry, but these new restoratives suck.

Maybe it's harder because of equipment changes. And there's nothing but Peerless in the lotto now so more people will be playing with them. That might be why everything is more difficult. I've noticed that playing the arenas on normal isn't the same, either.

The top monsters become stronger and stronger. Better bring some scroll into battle.

When I do randoms as anything other than 1H (to keep all of my equipment proficiencies topped off) on PFUDOR with my craptastic equipment and a lot of strong monsters show up, I'll just cast weaken on all of them so I don't have to cast cure every 3 turns. It really makes things easier.

So the rewards are ED can, ED water and ED sugar (at random), then you can combine them to get a full ED.

I really like monster lab update. It makes everything much easier but limit should stay at 500.

I reset my abilities and it seems to have helped. I do my randoms on POOFY and that's where I was really noticing it, the draughts and potions did next to nothing but now after doing a couple of randoms, I can see a difference. I'll have to test it some more.

But aside from that, it feels like randoms are a lot tougher these days.

Well I've been selling my artifacts from the beginning, so I'm not going to worry about it.

I do cast Weaken and also Imperil. It never used to be tough like this, I think it's the new restoratives not doing what the old ones used to.

I play my randoms every day, always have. I play arenas quite often, but mostly on a low difficulty to farm for Chaos Tokens.
