I don't know if you checked the bazaar only once, or several times to get a better sample size. However, lets say that you checked it more than once and found a lack of items in the 100-200 level range. I believe the reason is that there are not that many players in the 100-200 level range currently playing. There could be several reasons for this, but I believe the main one is boredom. New players try the game for a few days which leads to sub 100 items, but then get tired and give up. Those that continue quickly get above 200 so the count of items in your range is low.

the problem is that WTS doesn't sell gears at his level.

His best bet is to shop for unassignted items from 0.81, but they are running out.

Bazzaar shopping is acually viable even for some semi-active high level players, though you will need scripts.

Maybe you didn't reset your potion related abilities when 0.82 happened? That's usually the problem.
Or they could just be relatively inefficient.

if you have regen boost from donation &/ perk they're irrelevant, i imagine.

I have both, and they're not. Even with 4 IAs, I don't gain or lose MP when SS is on, which is not enough to keep up with 600 Heartseeker mana every 380+haste turns and 400 Regen mana every 130+haste turns. A draught or potion restores a bit more than 1/3 of my total MP pool, which is a bit more than what's needed to cast Heartseeker.

I reset my abilities and it seems to have helped. I do my randoms on POOFY and that's where I was really noticing it, the draughts and potions did next to nothing but now after doing a couple of randoms, I can see a difference. I'll have to test it some more.

But aside from that, it feels like randoms are a lot tougher these days.

Randoms do seem tougher lately. Maybe it's due to leveling, but I wouldn't think that on IWTBH at lvl 250-260 I'd be getting quite so many tougher monsters at the same time already. A lot of times there's one or two relatively weaker ones along with 6-8 that can OMGWTFBBQ me within inches of my life if RNG is unkind. I wonder what affects RE mob generation and if it changed due to patches or just leveling up a bit?

Bit late looking at these updates seeing as I just noticed some of my ancient pots we rent in my battle items lol took a while to notice that.
- The previously retired potions were removed from the game.

Starting to wish the upper limit of soul binding equips was 200 levels. There are so many things I want, but wouldn't be able to wear.

To remove the whining about the least valuable reward, just make all rewards equally valuable.

Too difficult to balance? Try using [arstechnica.com] polynomial least squares

Good point. At 100 by the time you get enough soul fragments to equip something 300 levels above you, you'd be around level 200 anyway, since they wouldn't be buying from the bazaar.

That theory only works in single player game. Otherwise, it's very prone to abuse through multi-accounting or collusion between players. Eg: I farm crystals, then send them to a "poor" account, who can sell it to bazzaar for greater price, then send back the earning to me.

Instead, what 10b can do is to sell Energy Drink @10k in the item shop;. Suddenly Energy Drink loses all values just like how crystals did (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) And if he sold Hath@ 5k apiece, all artifact drops will eventually have equal value. No need for complicated maths.

Today I'm struggling again with my randoms on POOFTER. It's been like this since the 0.82 patch and it's with the same monsters that usually show up. Sorry, but these new restoratives suck.

Maybe it's harder because of equipment changes. And there's nothing but Peerless in the lotto now so more people will be playing with them. That might be why everything is more difficult. I've noticed that playing the arenas on normal isn't the same, either.

What was the reason for getting rid of the Health potions, magic potions, and the spirit potions? I did not see anything in the release notes that said that these items would be removed. Especially since I do not play all the time. It was a shock to not see them in my inventory or battle items.

If you have to use restoratives in RE, that's not very good, right? If you come in with full MP you shouldn't need them either I think.

You were given more than a couple months to get rid of them, in 0.82, was that not enough? We were even given an extra month for the lazy.
