Assuming a going rate of 7k credits per hath (right now it's more), Long Gone Before Daylight costs the equivalent of 14 million credits. With the going rate of Energy Drinks at 50k (a bit high of an estimate), it'll take 280 days of use to pay off.
Soul Catcher will take 350 days.
Coupon Clipper takes 70,000,000 of bazaar purchases.
With the going rate of 10 per monster food (could probably get cheaper), That's Good Eatin' would take 50 monsters 17,500 days of eating to make up and that's without including any training.
Even with the bazaar price of 2,000 per Happy Pill, Extra Strength Formula, 50 PL 400 Monster with no training or Chaos abilities will take 750 days before that it pays off, but you shouldn't be letting your monsters drop bellow half morale anyway.
If you legitimately play 40+ Stamina of Hentaiverse every day for a year or more, then I guess Long Gone could be a moderately profitable long-term investment, but otherwise these just look like status symbols.
Anyway, thanks a ton for simplifying Monster Lab maintenance.

Though, that's only if you buy hath from the exchange. If you generate hath through other means they can be free benefits. For the hath overlords, they're essentially the hath equivalent to catgirl perks.

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jul 26 2015, 16:09) Previously, the minimum powerlevel could not be higher than min(max_pl/4, 100) to ensure there were always monsters available; as there are now plenty of high-PL monsters available, this was increased to min(max_pl/2, 500).
It's min(max_pl/4, 100), not max(max_pl/4, 100)? Does it mean I can see 100pl monsters before the patch? But in fact, I've not even seen one below 500 or higher. And could you tell us how to calculate max_pl, is wiki's formula right? This post has been edited by 夕涼なのか: Jul 27 2015, 06:39

QUOTE(sotl @ Jul 27 2015, 04:24) Soul Catcher will take 350 days. This assumes that the player would necessarily buy the soul fragments from the bazaar otherwise. For anyone who plays a reasonable amount of REs, I don't think it's worth it. QUOTE(sotl @ Jul 27 2015, 04:24) otherwise these just look like status symbols. You are right. Mostly just more hath sinks for the super-rich to show off. And those who had purchased the previously-affordable Crystarium now have to pay more than 3 times more in hath just to regain their prior amount in GF (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) QUOTE(Cashino @ Jul 27 2015, 04:32) Though, that's only if you buy hath from the exchange. If you generate hath through other means they can be free benefits. Just because one has gotten hath from elsewhere doesn't mean it's "free" - it has just about the same value, and spending it means giving up on the equivalent of some 7.3k credits/hath. Definitely an important consideration for any but the lowest perks. Nothing is free (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

QUOTE(Tgbvfr @ Jul 26 2015, 21:00) I was wondering the same thing, but figured that I just got a lucky drop. I then did another RoB, and I believe it is just the higher level arenas.
I got an exquisite from today's TT&T so I'm inclined to agree, but then again you can't really tell after so few runs.

QUOTE(G-Salat @ Jul 26 2015, 22:09) Nice patch, especially the Monster Lab!
Especially digging the "feed all the fuckers at one time" feature. Just click one button and everybody gets completely refueled on the hunger stat.

Nice QOL changes. Just hope people don't get tricky with their monster names.

QUOTE(teenyman45 @ Jul 26 2015, 23:12) 1) Did you expect the dramatic increase in the price of Hath as people go for the new perks?
That's how the economy works, the demand increase, the supply does not, the result is an obvious price increase (I loved to sell hath @ 7999). Still, awesome update, in particular I love the monster lab changes.

I like the update so far, but as some other people noted Suffusive Spirit perk is now the same as not having it because spark and spirit shield use a percentage of our base sp.

"You now need just a single forum post in the last 30 days to get the full forum exp bonus." Praising intensifies! And a Hath perk that gets me soul shards without having to get EXP? Yes, please, I still have an entire suit of Exquisite stuff to soulbind... which is now possible since it costs 25% as much. In about a month I should be able to bind my sword!
