QUOTE(Superlatanium @ May 20 2015, 02:41) Yep... and high-level players already have nice sets and can continue to play for quite a while without trouble. But low-level players are in for a world of pain, especially if someone starts from level 0 and is forced to play self-found.
Just.. to make sure ! I..played my ass up here [call it Lvl. (ing)] without any help .. are you aware.. of massive botting ? all changes.. done up till now.. blabla (was.. to make it harder for them) (of cause this hit us) but, you get the picture.. or not ^^ My only free gift was ... telling wolfy chan .. farwell "got a pony" ^^ damn.. best thing i ever got !

I also love to see newbies die at the hands of my monsters, as they cant catch up with the level of the monsters and, so, they DIE AS THE LITTLE WORMS THEY ARE... Good times to have a bunch of monsters, dont!? Oh, also the maths: if no ppl get them then the better: they die sooner... dont?

QUOTE(holy_demon @ May 20 2015, 09:06) Im pretty sure most high levels have gotten back to their old grinding routine, with the only exception of maybe holy mage (I personally can already clear arena and hellfest, though with a bit slower speed). It won't be long before we run around in stronger soulfused leg set while the rest are still struggling with the pab-nerfed mags and exqs
As a holy mage, I have no problem playing. My credits is high enough to last until the next patch (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Although I'm in red (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) Or I may get another set from my own drop drop and switch to........DW? (IF possible (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) ) This post has been edited by Colman: May 20 2015, 04:26

QUOTE(SakakiFan01 @ May 20 2015, 07:37) No; all I ever went to the bazaar for was to buy potions and sell found equipment.
(edit: typo)
That's exactly what I meant. Those unwanted equipment sold to bazaar is what keeping many new player who never go to Free Shop survive higher difficulty. We need to at least have the option to grab normal (not rubbish, not decent, just normal) equipment on the bazaar, which is also how I gather my DW / shade set and mage starter set. Now that route is closed.

QUOTE(n125 @ May 19 2015, 18:20) I'm probably just over thinking it, but it seems like I'm taking more damage after this patch. Many, many turns where I go from full health to critical. It's like monsters are stronger or faster; I don't know. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Mind you, chaos tokens generated from lotteries were doubled. Lottery prize, means rich players who have massive ultra-leveled mobs have higher chance to win (with bad luck?). Happy grinding~<3

+1 This! Used to be a bit happy to see mag drops but now i rather stick back to my pre-patch (nerf) 3 PABs Exq until i can find my leg set... which wont happen so soon cause fml for having non-maxed drop trainings (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif) This post has been edited by helno: May 20 2015, 05:34

Only thing I really don't like is that the Soul Fragment thing makes the weapon untradable instead of simply making it reset upon trading. (That and there is no way to just have my heroic potions converted over and so I'm selling at a loss). Kind of wish all equipment was level set on equip though rather than level set on find. This is simply speaking of stuff that affects me. As for things that affect newbies... QUOTE(intertex @ May 19 2015, 19:54) That's exactly what I meant. Yeah, I have this odd feeling that the hentaiverse is getting less and less accessible for newer players. I don't even plan to play HV at this point until I'm at least in the 400s in level so that when I equip my gear, they'll have decent stats. (I can't get my gear anymore as drops - for example, scythes no longer exist) I think it would have been better if there was a way to like spend say a small amount of Soul Fragments (say 1 or 2) and have the level be reset so that any level player could equip it. Suggestion: How about make all average and superior equipment become level Unassigned when sold to bazaar? So that people can have a easier time to build a new set, especially for newbies.

Do Spirit Elixirs actually drop? I've gotten plenty of Health and Mana Elixirs, but zero Spirit Elixirs.

I'm at 5 health / 3 mana / 1 spirit. I think the drop ratio was said to be 3/3/1 or something like that.

Just wondering. My numbers are a little skewed at 13/13/0.

QUOTE No, you won't be able to soulfuse all your equipment. This is by design. The idea is that you should be able to grab one "keeper" every week or so just from playing. Past that, it will require a significant investment at the item shop, or (bad?) luck at the equipment lottery. I'm interpreting this to mean that yes, you can soulfuse your favorite set of gear but it will take a while. In other words, weapons first. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) They have to adjust the drop rate of higher grade equipment and the stat roll of those equipment, as from what the high end player shown, even with full training and PFU, you would be very lucky to even get a exq from the clearing bonus from all arena. The only way to hopefully get something possible to worth a glimpse is from RE. If you don't want ANY equipment trading between player and want them to self-sustain and self-upgrade, you cannot make them need to spend 1 month in order to hopefully find 1 piece of upgrade. And I can't imagine the pain of those who want to switch play style from time to time, it's a pain in the a.s.s to soulbind 1 set, soulbinding another 2 or 3 sets? Well...... And what I get the implied message in the current equipment setting is, "newbie are all worthless greedy worm who are better off all die and go away, only those high end player are worth to stay on the game. Even so, it's my duty to make them live as hard and as frustrated as possible because it's what I think is fun".

Have a look at the Legendary equipment thread, there are some really good pieces are being generated. Careful about these thoughts, they really wreck your psyche.

Well I believe that's not what 10b really think (hopefully), but the effect is just more or less the same now. (Edit) And after viewing that thread, useless leg is much more common then good leg, and they are from the high end user who can clear DwD PFU everyday in an hour or so. And good thing only comes from shrine and RE also, arena bonus are rubbish. Thus my saying, "only high end player are worth to stay on the game". Yeah, I personally run like 3 different styles though they are all fairly similar, it won't be fun to have to do what is it? 3 * 7 = 21 weeks ? And before doing that, having to have someone run item world? And hasn't that been the implied message of like half the patches so far? (Regardless of what Tenboro actually thinks). Pretty much at this point, I'm just going to level off of dailies for a while. No real point buying gear from others for much longer seeing how it will all be level locked. I can also imagine that it will be quite annoying for item world runs since you have to get them done before you bind or else you are going to have to do it yourself.
