QUOTE(VriskaSerket @ May 20 2015, 00:46) drop rate for Restoratives was enough even before 10b raised it yesterday Tetron's right. As a wizard I can barely self-sustain my mana pots too (I had a negative stock-trend yesterday). BUT my stick / part of gears was leveled up, my character's arse was perked up etc. So an "ordinary" players might have a problem. QUOTE restorative's are just consumables, you should buying them, not grinding. Why not just remove em from the drop-list in that case? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) P.S. Probably you too doing all wrong. im dark mage and can self-sustain pots. Case closed. QUOTE(Laboq @ May 19 2015, 23:11) Why not just remove em from the drop-list in that case? Yeah, right: LEGENDARY PEERLESS SET, fully trained /perked up arse, MC 30 etc etc etc. Such players are an exception to the rule. QUOTE 10b, great proposal here, remove them I don't mind. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) This post has been edited by Laboq: May 20 2015, 01:25

stop whining, stop rape dead kitty!
First off, I'm a dog(style) guy, anyway. Second - 'Silence implies consent.' When she complains, I'll respect that. But 'til then: "Here, (dead)kitty, kitty, kitty!!"

QUOTE(intertex @ May 19 2015, 00:16) But now you can't even buy stuff on bazaar. Unless you also never visit bazaar for normal equipment and depends purely on loot...
No; all I ever went to the bazaar for was to buy potions and sell found equipment. Basically all I've ever done is survive on things I've found. My main hack right now is I'd Warrior-Mage 1H/Shield Bash/Heartseeker with magic self-support, (needed lots of mana potions) and now that seems very difficult... if not impossible... I'm actually just a few proficiency points short of the tier-three elemental spells... Wondering now if I should even bother pushing that last little bit... QUOTE(Jram @ May 19 2015, 22:41) Can anyone confirm if triggering Spark of Life causes the durability - death penalty?
No, Spark of Life does not trigger the durability (otherwise it would be next to useless).

I'm actually just a few proficiency points short of the tier-three elemental spells... Wondering now if I should even bother pushing that last little bit... If you need many potions for melee (which you do), you need many more potions for mage. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I'd avoid maging until you get to a higher level. Unless you're specifically built as mage with specialty in a particular element, the offensive spells are not worth it.

QUOTE(VriskaSerket @ May 20 2015, 01:38) you are 350+ and still havent at least legendary set? Why? I got about 3-5 L drops from grinding & about 3 from shrining for all time. As for buying, well I got some BUT your "cheapdirt" evaluation is too optimistic, IMO. There were always moneybags or 24/7 ninjas at WTS/Auction section. Also, there are other players except me and you. This post has been edited by Laboq: May 20 2015, 02:17

In this new patch, only legendary and peerless drops are useable, everything below is salvage mats
High-level nerf? What? This is a biggest fuck-you to low-level since their training is not high enough to get legs...

Yep... and high-level players already have nice sets and can continue to play for quite a while without trouble. But low-level players are in for a world of pain, especially if someone starts from level 0 and is forced to play self-found.

Unless you're specifically built as mage with specialty in a particular element, the offensive spells are not worth it. Oh, except when I was deliberately working to up magic proficiency, I would only use elemental magic the first five or so rounds (3-4 monsters per round) for a few proficiency pluses, then bash with spirit stance, recharge (the overcharge bar,) and repeat. The mana potions were to keep up Heartseeker, healing, and my other protective spells. So far no issues; but still not happy with the Battle Items restrictions... Hindsight 20-20 and all that, but what a waste of credits. All those extra slots helped keep me in Mana when I would grind PFUDOR levels for some quick and massive xp boosts. QUOTE(夕涼なのか @ May 19 2015, 21:17) Can we have draughts with much longer duration? It is rather bothering to use one draught every 50 turns and one potion every 20 turns. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Since all the buffs have 200-400 turns, this is equivalent to keeping 21 more buffs than usual where is only 2-4. Maybe we can have draughts with 200 turns duration, 4 times the price, and 25% drop rate. I'd rather to have draught at faster duration, but more restoration.

QUOTE(Tenboro @ May 19 2015, 14:01) Because unlucky roll? A legendary rapier of slaughter can roll ADB between 481 and 554, those are 489 and 485 respectively. It could be as low as 470 before, and no higher than 540. Not a bad idea, I'll consider it.
Thanks for numbers? Maybe we can chat and elaborate later. I have not so bad ideas on occasion, or so I'd like to think QUOTE(arialinnoc @ May 19 2015, 17:16) Why peerless stats roll below a leg one? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) P Dark edb=26.60 Deprecate prof.=11.81 int=4.83 L Dark edb=26.98 Deprecate prof.=12.19 int=4.92 If no one has gotten to this, i think you saw bad numbers from your equipment script. If you hover over they look correct with: P Dark edb=26.60 Deprecate prof.=11.81 int=4.83 L Dark edb=25.66 Deprecate prof.=11.39 int=4.59 nevermind, tenboro got it This post has been edited by skillchip: May 20 2015, 03:12

Im pretty sure most high levels have gotten back to their old grinding routine, with the only exception of maybe holy mage (I personally can already clear arena and hellfest, though with a bit slower speed). It won't be long before we run around in stronger soulfused leg set while the rest are still struggling with the pab-nerfed mags and exqs

I'm probably just over thinking it, but it seems like I'm taking more damage after this patch. Many, many turns where I go from full health to critical. It's like monsters are stronger or faster; I don't know. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)
