QUOTE(Colman @ May 19 2015, 16:10) You forgot the repair and ED cost? And with my current set, I cannot do that.
well the new artifact should be able to cover your ED cost. The huge amount of below sup equips should be able to cover the repair bill.

Bug: "armor damage" and "weapon damage" warning was not displayed until I opened the Repair tab (despite a few pieces being damaged below 50%). While 0.76 seemed to make everything different I don't think it was so hard to play. At least when I started playing during 0.77 It was fun and enjoyable. Now it was (reasonably) fun and enjoyable for me to play the day before the patch, and now it's just boring, because while the gameplay changed as much as usual for any patch, all prospects of "nice things" have disappeared. And when I try to imagine how it is for the new players (lvl 0-20 I mean, not even 50) I suppose it's even worse.

0.76 eviscerated mages. The stuff that mages were able to do pre-0.76 was completely incomparable to post-patch.

The change before affect play style, just like the current potion patch which I don't have much trouble with. Just because you can't play in the same way as before does not make the game unplayable. As long as you find a new play style the game is still fun, rewarding and challenging. And it's not that difficult to change play style before right? Changing to another type of equipment to suit new play style was not the hopelessly difficult. But after this patch, with this new equipment system, even if you can clear PFU GF, the game is punishing, boring and frustrating. This post has been edited by intertex: May 19 2015, 08:43

Only for mages, hop on the 1H bandwagon. Now you pretty much have infinite mana and you don't have to do the tedious spirit point drain combo. Also if you are higher gear level (read: rich) you might be able to get legendary shields with PMAX block.

Item equipment level should be equal for the grade of items.
1) level 100 users can equip items up to Ex. (equipment level for ex should be set to 100)
2) level 200 users can equip items up to Mag. (equipment level for mag should be set to 200)
3) level 300 users can equip items up to Legend. (etc)
4) level 400 users can equip items up to Peer. (etc)
So when higher level users get Ex./Mag items and dump it into Bazaar, newbies can buy it from there and move on to level 300+.
It will also normalize trading between higher level users.

Like I said, I don't have much trouble with potion patch. I actually quite enjoy the new potion system, I could go further in PFU difficulty now. I need to spend some credit to clear it? Well as long as I can have fun the the challenge is rewarding, I don't bloody mind. But the equipment system? Don't you see the drop list those high level player with max LOTD shown? Getting a PMAX block shield in a punishing system like this? It's worse then job in real life. This post has been edited by intertex: May 19 2015, 08:52

As i said being dropped from top tier to the lowest tier is one thing. It happened multiple times even before 0.76. But this patch eviscerated player-to-player interaction (or at least gameplay reasons for that). Additionally it seems to me (and many others) that even without any additional changes things will become worse with the passage of time. I am under impression that before that any patch made things unstable but everyone expected that things will become stable in time, and just expressed their frustration with the temporary nuisance or with the fact that things will become stable in configuration different from pre-patch one. Now, when do you think that trade will reach former volume?

QUOTE(darkwing42 @ May 18 2015, 00:06) I'm not sure if I missed something while reading about the patch or if it is a bug but I noticed that even though I'm using the same light armor gear on all 5 of my equipment sets I seem to be getting a huge drop in my stats under the equipment set that I have set to Niten Ichiryu, the HP & MP bonus goes down as if I were not using all Light Armor. I'm not sure if I did something or what, it goes back up if I switch to a different set but my armor is the same on all five so not sure why there's a difference.
Never mind, found what I did wrong.

@Tenboro, I just got an idea: Since this patch's motto was Self-Sufficiency, make the drops something like this - A mage will drop more Staff and Cloth Armor than other equipments, a Rapier+ Heavy Armor user will drop more Rapier, Shield and Heavy Armor than other equipments, Niten + Light Armor user will drop more Katana, Wakizashi and Light Armor than other equipments, and so on.
Meaning, the drops should be biased towards what's the player is wearing. Those who play with a mix of different categories of Armor won't get this benefit.
How about it?

*thinks about the history of credit gain nerfs over time* Never! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) More seriously, you just have to either (1) learn to live with the changes or (2) quit playing the game, either until a decent patch comes out or forever. If Tenboro thinks he went too far with a change and tweaks things then consider yourself lucky, but I don't think there's ever been a time where Tenboro has completely undone a patch's change.

So, is it possible for low-level players to soulfuse gears with higher level so they can equip it?

https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showt...p;#entry3993136- You can now soulfuse equipment that is up to 50 levels higher than you. (Note that you still cannot equip items that are higher level than you, so you have to soulfuse them to equip them.)

Yes, but that's not the issue. New players are pure screwed. Most of the time they are not rich. meaning, they will have to play only RE for over 1 month to get enough Soul Fragment for a full set. In the meanwhile, they can't play the game much, since they'll level up way too quickly, while their gears (If they actually managed to get any in the 1st place) will lag behind. Even 1 single RE is enough for starting players to gain a few levels. Long story short - Most of the players that'll join HV after this patch will quit out of frustration. If you start playing a new game, and learn that you'll need to do a repetitive routine work for more than 1 month before you can even start to enjoy it, what will YOU do? Furthermore, RE isn't always "guaranteed" to give you Soul Fragment. This post has been edited by tetron: May 19 2015, 09:43
