Ran another 200 rounds on PFUDOR. All I got was piece of shit average and superior equipment.
I got better drops pre-patch! And that's saying a lot when most of the equipment was trash before the patch!

I think this is because of the increased power ADB mentioned in the first post, unless you mean power of slaughter.

I need more time with the patch, but so far I find it hard to get excited about new loot because actually finding something that has the potential to fit into my suit still seems to be pretty difficult. In the past three years I've only found one wind legendary; everything I use was purchased from other players. I just don't see legendaries with the correct type, prefix, and suffix lining up that often.

Its the nature of this type of game. Trading is a must to get the gear we want. If we are really to play self found we need diabloverse drop rate. Like a leg drop every 5 min.

So lost right now. I died 4 times from random encounters before I realised my stats had been reset. Then I realised that a lot of things I wanted to trade for are useless now as they are too high level req.
Don't play that much so not too bothered by the above, but it's going to be a little awkward to try and buy used gear from others now (staring at the lvl 400+ items in the shop).

It is actually a one way trading, lower level players will be able to sell to higher level players only (and probably only for gear that is good enough to soulfuse). However with the money they make, they will only be able to but things like materials (or super good gear from even lower level players).
Either way it will make trading extremely inefficient (which if you like finding your own gear, it is a good thing).

And a bad thing if you want to have gameplay reason to interact with other players. Moreover, while trading itself is merely difficult, without some kind of automated system (Tenboro once called it auction house) it would be unreasonably hard to find a trade partner. Because of additional variety "search forum" will become useless for WTS and the only way to find desirable trade would be to read every thread. Natural gear progression works at the lower levels, but once you start getting into higher-end gear, it slows to a crawl and becomes very difficult without trading. A thought that comes to mind for me is to give players a small pool of "overlevel" equipment allowance. So you can, say, have equipment that is a total of 50 levels above yours. e.g. If you are level 200, you could have a Lv250 weapon with all of your armour <= Lv200 or you could have a Lv220 weapon, a Lv220 shield and a Lv210 helmet. Possibly even make it something that can be trained. You start with 10 and can train it in +5 level steps perhaps.
