Just upon reading this for the first time, I like the changes overall;

The only significant downside is in the gear leveling system. It would appear to take a casual player 6-10 months to generate enough soul crystals to bind ONE item to scale as you level; not to mention that it actually may take longer as you are punished for leveling up


Ex:The gear you want to bind may take you leveling 20 levels to attain 100, now you still can't bind it because you need 10 more. That's a bit counter productive.


The same system also eliminates gear trading completely. This discourages game collaboration between players.

Hey guys i just checked my old Legendary Shocking Shortsword of Slaughter, it retains its damage, not 1/3, so old Slaughter is 3 times stronger than the new?

High-grade cloth 50c each

Considering if you bound your equip and it got nerfed to the ground, or you don't take the risk and rather grinding a bit slower with fixed level gears?

You will never upgrade them because there is no point of it if its not a top tier legendary, which means monster gifts will be flatten to 50c high grade cloth at one point eventually.

Since equip is and upgrades are huge credits balancing key, player will now of coz choosing a safe tactic - saving up money to deal with it, further decreases crystal price, which is the core of incoming gap closer.

More good equip and easier gameplay makes upgrade and trade useless comparing forging the final set of gears.

Credits will be get no place to go at the end of it, this patch is making a terrible mistake.

So uh, the new potion system is great for IWTBH and below, but it sucks for PFUDOR, the scaling is simply too low.

Also, with the amount of potions and elixirs we have to carry now, can you please allow me to add potions to my quick bar natively?

The inventory change really needs to be highlighted, because it fundamentally changes the game. Having the items you could carry capped was the only remaining in game limiter on the multiplier at which I would tackle arenas and weapons.

It also nullifies the pack rat training. I now have more inventory slots than I have items to fill them (once scrolls and infusions are slotted). Can we get a reset of that, or possibly a refund if it gets eliminated?

So basically because I don't want to carry around random piles of garbage items; I'm now forced to do so? I used multiples of the same items because I knew what they would do, and could consistently count on that. Please explain to me why I have to carry junk, lousy level recovery items, or ridiculously expensive items that recover so much I loose part of the recovery value?

Even after reading everything at the start of this thread, I fail to understand how I'm now suppose to be better off.

50 turn recovery and the item comes back? SO WHAT. If I just got screwed by some monster after using an item, I need it NOW, not fifty turns from now.

(edit) Let me be blunt; to H with the new potion system.

I just leave one off one scroll rather than worry about having a full set. Flower Vase and Bubble Gum don't drop enough or do enough for me to use them. I see no use for carrying health items; I have spells for that which are a lot more reliably targeted to the amount of damage I've taken/ am taking. I had the feeling the enemy become easier, but at the same time the experience given to me was slightly lesser, then I read this. Battletoad have been merged with Nintendo, now I know why, well pity me, I like those battletoad level, keep entering Arena on Battletoad difficulty....

Also the potion, I think I can manage to adapt with the new potion, after 100 rounds I realize the new pot are cheaper since it forcing me to use lesser quality, and means I now didn't get mana overcharged when my Mana points already full.

This patch have merits and demerits.
