QUOTE(Superlatanium @ May 17 2015, 09:01) That's item shop buy value. But do they drop frequently? If it's anywhere close to that of previous mana potion, we will have more of them than we can use, I would think. Need to grind more to find out...
The mana and health elixir never dropped that frequently before. I don't think this has changed with the patch. This post has been edited by Jram: May 17 2015, 23:54

Nothing interesting too in GF after 150 rounds. And no two-hands drops after a full playing day (arena & GF)

Woah wait a minute. QUOTE Equipment now has a fixed gear level that matches the level of the player it dropped for. I thought he said gear would get a level after being equipped, before the patch. RRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

New system have prohibitively strict restrictions. when you can only buy equips of your level or less, chances are high that best equipment available to you is already yours, at least it got your level, and not your level-30.
System where you can equip items that are 20% higher than your level or just your level+50 would have much more chances for trading between players, while still prohibiting lvl400 to lvl 200 sale. However even with such system I think trading would become sparse, unless Auction House( or other "exchange-like feature") will soon be added too. Forums would have a hard time supporting such complicated conditions: even when someone is selling his lucky legendary drop which has your level-5 you would have very hard time finding it. People have limited time and information processing capabilities, so without Auction House I afraid that most of the people won't find a way to trade.
Now, if players would be able to level equipment up and down (or just have a continuous source of "Level unassigned" eqips - shrined trophies would be a good choice since shrining was not level-dependent at all before the patch) there would be no urgent need in Auction House and forum trading could continue as it was (only in lesser quantity)
I suppose that killing trade outright was not original purpose of that patch, so let's hope Tenboro will see amount of new equips being CODed and whether it's recepients can use it and then will make his conclusions.

You know while there are some good ideas in this patch, like the equipment wear on death, I've gotta seriously wonder if anyone even playtested this before it was released ...

Btw, what about that new equip scaling on level thing? Does it leave old weapons with SAME stats but adds NEW ones making it better or what?
We got nerfed or buffed?

Nothing changed on scaling aside from non-soulfused items not scaling to the player.

Huh? But it says the bigger the level of an item the bigger stats it has, like I have my old Holy Staff in my invenotory now (with old stats, right?), it's yet unleveled but If I equip it it will become of my level and get stats according to it... additional stats? It won't be the same total stats I got some days ago, wouldn't it? So will I get MORE stats or less stats than I had before? This post has been edited by Owyn: May 18 2015, 00:56

AFAIU there were some places in formulas (like calculating weapon damage, etc) where player level appeared, and now all of those use equipment level instead of player level. Is this wrong? If it's right, can anyone who knows the old formulas well tell us what exactly gets affected by this?

damn, if so then this change seems like a legendary nerf to item stats (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) we now get the same but after spending tons of effort finding (if that's even possible now) and leveling an item, and by that - making it untradable - and that means NO gear progression, cuz you won't be able to UPGRADE your weapon to a better one by selling the old one (unless you want to play with less stats it could give you) This post has been edited by Owyn: May 18 2015, 01:07

Equipped equipments will have the usual stat. But once you're level up you'll start missing stat raise you usually got. You can equip your equipments now and not getting any buff or nerf. The change will be felt on your next level.

I now have -2 Ability Points. I still have all the abilities I had before the patch. (I think. I didn't check each one individually but I haven't learned/reset anything since the patch)
Did anything get messed up with the Ability Points numbers?
