When you still own a Classic or Super Nintendo anything is possible.

Not only is it easier to do marathon runs now, but we no longer need to spend a lot on pack rack training, which is a nice bonus.

Well, I think that Pfudor looks really hard, but the rest of the levels seems easier now. Including IWBTH. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Does anyone else think that generaldoom's speech pattern sounds like Shenhua from Black Lagoon? Is it just me? Cracks me up. From the Japanese version, the English dub version just sounds racist LOL.

I would swear that the English dub of Shenhua is actually a parody/reenactment of how Chinese were portrayed in older western films (like everything else in Black Lagoon), and it's not directly racist on the localizing team's part. This post has been edited by Cashino: Jul 19 2015, 04:51

It really sucks that my monsters don't bring as much gifts as before. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Forging costs a fortune now as I have to buy almost everything I need when I want to upgrade my main set. Before this patch I got about 120 gifts per day. Now I just get 50!!? per day. That's insane when I compare with what amount I have spend on crystals on my monsters. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) I hope that there will be a change in the next patch related to the monsters or the gifts they bring. If not why spend hours and hours in grinding crystals or millions of credits to buy them if there are almost no reward? And without some challenging monsters the game isnt worth playing, or not? However maybe Tenboro believes that there are allready enough monsters around so why make it interesting to create more monsters... In my opinion the penalty for dying is way to high as I believe that many players have lowered their difficulty level in order to avoid being killed which brings wins for the monsters. I guess that most gifts now are realted to the 72 hours guarantee and not through wins as before. So not only has the monster lab got a big nerf but the forging as well. And that really sucks. QUOTE(Mantra64 @ Jul 19 2015, 09:33) It really sucks that my monsters don't bring as much gifts as before. If players had perfect information, maybe this is a reason for the recent drop in crystal price? Few are even asking for crystals in WTB. I imagine it would be quite disappointing for monster investments worth 10m+ / 100m+ to suddenly take twice as long to just break even.

However maybe Tenboro believes that there are allready enough monsters around so why make it interesting to create more monsters... The problem is there is way too many monsters per active players, and most of those players only do some arenas and RE each day. The other problem is that the monsters cant pay off their investment until they reach a high enough level to actually enter a decent amount of battles which is probably around 750 from what I have read, and that is probably only just beginning to bring in gifts more often than the 72hr gifts. So unless you have plenty of monsters already it is more cost effective to raise more low PL mobs than to raise a smaller number of high PL mobs. This has been the case for a very long time. There needs to be something else that monsters can do besides battles that can bring gifts because otherwise this is never going to change.

Only PL1000+ brings daily gifts. My monsters from PL750-900 don't bring daily gifts anymore. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) You should consider that many high level players quit the game right after the patch. There's just as many monsters, but less players to give them win. Anyway, since crystal price is dropping, eventually people will switch from farming crystal on lower difficulty to farming equipment/credit on higher difficulty and leaving halfway through, so hopefully monsters will get more win?

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) My highest monster is 512 I am sure she is still reliant on the 72hr gift, and despite have 45% double gift its still mostly 1 gift and low grade at that..... There has been no reward for my modest investment so far, my lower mobs I have received double gifts of repurposed actuators and plenty of bindings. True its just RNG when it comes to the gifts but still why bother investing in higher PL mobs when the investment required to actually start making a return greater than a low PL mob is so insanely high. Besides even if everyone could raise their mobs to a high enough level there is simply too many monsters and not enough rounds played. I stopped wasting chaos tokens on my higher PL mobs when I stopped playing last time and started making more monsters and only giving them chaos tokens for double gift until it becomes too expensive. And I am fairly certain this is what most people are doing now, well the ones that were not already doing it. Not only that but their monsters are still active in battles and considering most of people play mainly arena with less mobs per round the number of monsters from inactive trainers is amplified. If all their monsters dropped out of battle it would make a small difference for people with higher PL mobs but for everyone else still have no effect. I dont know why their monsters still show up in battle though as I thought they were supposed to drop out of battle when they have zero morale. I would like to know what percentage of monsters faced is from trainers we know are no longer active. This post has been edited by teddy.bear: Jul 19 2015, 13:29
