I'm guessing Deaive is either Undead or Humanoid? They both can have attacks that can do magic damage and can also do specific Crushing.

i meant whether crushing spell exists, it even gets resisted, it can use "uses" instead of "casts". Reference please.

Yep, that's how it is. It is strange, but monsters' damage types aren't forced to be the way you'd think they would, with common sense, like when the player does damage. The attack will go through magical mitigation and then crushing mitigation.
