I settle that by putting Scan on the quickbar.

Flee is too close to Scan, too.
Even more worrisome than the energy drink.

Personally, I more likely to flee than scan, so it makes no difference to me. Losing durability on death just made it worse.

Wait until you unlock FSM, and fight him on pfudor. You shall see.

I do so daily. But, why do you need to keep scanning FSM?

If you really wanted to Flee but mistakenly click Scan, nothing bad happens. So the problem you mentioned comes when you want to Scan, and mistakenly click Flee. This can be solved by putting scan in the quickbar, and scan using that.

Of course, it would be nice to have a bit of space. But don't hold your breath waiting.

BTW, what happened to the "purge of the old restoratives" scenario?

Yep, I have mistakenly clicked it more than thrice, fortunately I didn't have any at the moment.

Does anyone here know how to soulforge your weapon/equipment if it's already assigned a level?

Or how to 'unassign lv' a weapon?

I have a pair of maxed and already forged weapons and equips but it was already way levelled off from my former level...

Two one handed weapon, one two-handed weapon, one katana, one wakizashi, Heavy Power Armor Slaughter sets, Two Light Shade sets (arcanist and sd/evasion), and One set of Protection Light Sets.
All already maxed and upgraded...

I can't seem to soulforge those equips.. Is this intentional? (I already got the requirement of the soul fragments)

Tried before and now. Result = Doesn't work. The aforementioned equips don't show up in the list of "soulfusable" equip.

All the equips that showed up are only 'unassigned level' weapon/equipment.

Sorry, a bit revision, there are some 'Assigned Level' weapon/equipments did show up, but all the MAXED weapons/equipments and assigned DOESN'T show up at all.

It seems they are 50+ levels below. I have a lvl141 mag, I unequiped it, but it still won't show in soulfuse panel.

Nah, they will be removed any day now. It's not some timed process, it's something I'll do manually when I get around to it.

On the subject of old restoratives; I, for one, am still using them. Trying to gain a little Elemental and Cloth proficiency. And was hoping for a little more time. (I thought the last potion purge had a longer lag time.)

I have a question for you, Tenboro.
Say I want a charged phase set of some element. What would you say is a reasonable amount of time to expect to complete that in, entirely self found?
