QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jun 14 2015, 16:12) I'll tell you a secret. Since the patch, random encounters have made up 2.2% of all battles fought, 10.73% of all equipment dropped, and 46.72% of all legendaries dropped.
Get your REs in.
The lucky ones are too op in this version. Many people who play only a little REs and arenas have much more incomes than whose who play several thousand rounds. Unlucky people like me are suffering. Is the chance to get soul fragments capped within a block of time less than 24hrs, with a cooldown till the next chance? Like 2 in four hrs or something?

My understand is that there is a counter which starts at 6. If you get one fragment then counter is at 5, and 4 hour timer starts. If you get really lucky in RE drops and manage to get all 6 within that four hours, then you won't get another one until the four hours is up. After the 4 hour timer is up, you can then get another fragment, but then have to wait another 4 hours before you can get the next one. However, I personally always keep the counter at 6 or 5, so I get a guaranteed drop after each RE instead of relying on luck.

What's the mag/leg drop rate for Nintendo RE? That's the highest I can go without dying.

I repeat that I would pay for a hath perk to see more HV db stats. Heck, I might even pay for a subscription to random contextual-lacking stats much like this post! :-) But I would prefer some context. Would pay more for more context. Yes, I do play my REs, almost only that sonce 0.82 dropped. I bet I am in the top 20% for the "play-once-a-week-at-least" category, or whatever disregards the huge number of non-playing players. I am on the ~3x a day cycle that seems to get me my precious Soul Fragments.

QUOTE(tetron @ Jun 14 2015, 02:22) Umm...One question: Those legendary grade gears that were generated in RE, were they generated only in PFUDOR? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jun 14 2015, 02:36) Most of them, but that's largely because most people do the REs on PFUDOR.

(IMG:[i58.tinypic.com] http://i58.tinypic.com/mma743.jpg) ** at least I'm honestit's very easy to play on pfudor nowadays thanks to the new item mechanics. Just spam potions/elixir/scroll/infusion if needed. Scrolls in particular are very good for people without IA as it doesn't require action time (though I'd still recommend people to get IA1 at least to slot in Spark of life so sparking becomes cheap in MP). Health potion and elixir are much better than cure/full-cure for the same reason. If all your curative options are on cooldown, spam infusion until Cure comes back up. The bonus RE drop is worth it This post has been edited by holy_demon: Jun 15 2015, 06:54

242.2. Everybody lies on the Internet. Rule 242 is a lie too. No exceptions.

Well, I gotta say it prob'ly won't ever be easy for me to play pfudor: I play one-hand with light armor (none of it IW'ed), and I prob'ly spent too much ability on mage skills, but I know when the mobs pull my own rib bones out and go Deen Castronovo on my head, it's my own damn fault. Thanks for the tech tips, though -- there's some good info there that I'll try and put to good use. I've got a vat of coconut oil and an Olympic-sized Twister mat. Who's down to party?
