This is my main concern and I am glad someone has the guts to ask the important question.

QUOTE(tetron @ May 28 2015, 13:35) How do you know that users are quitting? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) The dramatic decline in volume of hath traded at the exchange is good evidence. Though this is also influenced by the fact that the hath experience perks are now useless (not only were they nerfed to effectively 1/3rd their former value, but now EXP is a double-edged sword).

QUOTE(Scremaz @ May 28 2015, 13:58) i guess it's not been revealed yet because nobody shrined them recently.
There were only 57 in existence and I don't think anyone who still has one will ever shrine it.

Growing less and less happy with this as I continue playing.
Never have really understood why people say not to be a mage until at a higher level.
I took armor and weapon/shield that look the best from my finds; boosted my defenses with magic, and plowed through the monsters. (With an occasional Shield Bash, Vital Strike, and Smite for good measure.)
Mana potions kept my defenses up, along with attack boosting, (Heartseeker) and speed, (Haste.)
Elemental I would throw in for proficiency boosting in lower level battles, (3-4 monsters.)
A style I found comfortable, that allowed me to PFUDOR for rapid experience increasing occasionally, and let me fight through sessions quickly is now basically useless.
I actually could care less about the weapon and armor changes, since truthfully I never paid anything more than cursory attention to that, (beyond looking for useful sat boosts and lowering my compromise stats as much as I could.)
What I miss is being able to mana-up when ever I needed to... Instead of having to wait fifty turns for a dribble of points barely better than natural recovery, or the re-use of a one-time boost that can easily be used up in less than ten turns.

[quote name='tetron' date='May 28 2015, 19:35' post='4011242'] How do you know that users are quitting? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Well, I don't know about others but we used to have like 20+ people in the IRC channel but now several old users sold everything and quit or just don't come in anymore. More users are talking about quitting. Also there was a mid-newbie(around level 250), he likes the game but he didn't have much credits so we wanted to help him out by giving him mid grade legendary rapier, but it's level 350+ so basically it's up to him to survive. We used to give newbies base equipments like e max mace and Mag plate of protection to start and survive until they can earn enough to go on but since we can't do that anymore it's getting much harder for them.

What are the chances that someone will get Carpal Tunnel while distributing points to attributes?

That's exactly why low-level shouldn't play mage, mana issues. At high level (and with good forged gears), mages can kill fast enough for the mana potions to be insignificant, while infinite potion lets us last very long in grindfest. On the other hand, low level will need to spam either mana potion or ether tap, making it a very inefficient style.
