I equipped a bunch of Earth-walker gear. With 738 Supportive proficiency, I'm still healing for 80% of my base health, or I guess cure power (which is at 100)...

Yeah, I think this is key. This isn't much of a problem if elixirs are common enough, but if they aren't then mages have another credit sink on their hands.

Many indeed. For the time being, I've decided to revert back to 1H + Shade. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

240 rounds of PFUDOR in grindfest+200 arena rounds, 0 elixers, only a few potions and a whole bunch of draughts. It seems draughts are the only economical way to play. Even using potions whenever you can means you'll run out quickly.

Of course 0 elixers can be attributed to variance, but that's around 1900 mobs without a single elixer. Drop rate's pretty low.

maybe in the past there no free shop compare to now where freeshop is destroying low to mid gear shop (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
and make them get some mag or leg gear easily (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I never have something free when I'm starting playing HV (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)
