Well, high-level players can buy equipment from anyone and level it up, it's just expensive to do so.

But they can't sell to practically anyone. They can't buy from someone slightly higher than them (I'm sure it takes over a month to get from 410 to 420), they can't sell any of their good equipment when they upgrade because it's untradeable. In addition to being extremely limited, it's also confusing and tedious as all get up. The only people who will bother attempting to trade are the 5 riches czars looking for peerless equipment. Effectively a player's item pool is limited to only what has dropped for him in the past 50 levels or so as soul fusing is not at all practical.

I guess I need to spend 2m+ more just for the 25m staff I won a few days ago to keep from degrading to Superior-equivalent over time.

Yes. Both me and kamio were skyrocketing the GP price in final 15 minutes (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I think it got to 174. Maybe that's the reason it still hasn't settled back down to the ~155 it was right before that lottery started.

But now that this patch has come, I will likely never even be able to use it (with a forge-worthy accompanying armor set) unless I get unreasonably lucky. It is quite depressing.

Mana Elixers aren't enough? After grinding for a little bit we'll probably all have more of them than we can use, and restoring full MP pool every 50 turns should be much more than enough. I haven't tried it yet... don't want to level lock my good equipment until I'm sure of what I'm doing...

I think it is not too bad.

It's about 20 times as bad than pre-patch' recovery system. That vaunted Mana Potion recovers about 80% of BASE mana (don't forget about cooldown), and it's a sad fact. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Ugh ItemManager is broken...

Many scripts are now broken, including Equipment Comparison (Not working for older equipment unless the equipment has a level).

Also, do the monsters have a shitload more hp? At least our attacks seem to do more damage...

Bug report 2: Got this from a Hinamatsuri Doll: Magnificent Onyx Force Shield of Stoneskin. And it has Agility PAB! And Take a look at it's Potency, it's 311, Superior/Exquisite grade.

That's item shop buy value. But do they drop frequently? If it's anywhere close to that of previous mana potion, we will have more of them than we can use, I would think. Need to grind more to find out...
