PABs appart, I still wonder why equipment's PxP has generally dropped after patch. Just now I got a Mag with just 315 (like low-level exquisite pre-patch).
Superior has now PxP of average pre-patch and exquisite of superior pre-patch. It's just because of the lack of PAB's?
Even if ranges are better, new equipment will seldom be better than past like this.

It specifically says why in the patch notes. It still tries to approximate the old equipment quality value, but it's not actually used for anything during generation, and the generation process is fundamentally different. Equipment value was adjusted to compensate, so the only effect is that you'll need less potency exp and that repairs will be cheaper.

Quite unexpected. It was turned into something completely different and at the same time much worse(from the income standpoint) than the old LotD. I thought that it was a stop-gap measure, to be superseded by some new option (whether it would still be named LOTD or not).

It seems ADB of new Legendary rapier of slaughter is about 30~40% weaker than the old ones.

I can already see people panic with Pre-nerf syndrome from recent level unassigned -slaughter equipment auction.

Sorry about the confusion. It seems almost all legendary items drop as -of slaughter suffix have E(most of them) to -M(very rarely) value for AD while they mostly have L to P max for other base values.

It is very strange because most of the legendary weapons or shade/power armors without the slaughter suffix will have L max to P max base value for AD.

So I wonder is it even possible to get L-max grade of Legendary rapier of slaughter under the current system?

It's just a bad roll like this one.

WD rolled ~89% from Lmax refer to the wiki. (above Emax a bit)

Why is merciful blow skill so much weaker than the other 2 skills even when the monster is affected by bleed

it costs more overcharge than vitial strike but usually deals less damage.

Edit: added data from ROB and fixed skill names:



NM seems i've been using wrong since i got it.

Must really only be useful on higher diffs cause on normal if the thing has <25% hp not worth using merciful blow on it as it will bleed to death or the chain has already expired.
