As equipment drops are pretty much dead in arenas outside of the clear bonus for PFUDOR DwD, how are equip drops doing in Item World or Grindfest?

First time trying GF post patch. Using gems in Grindfest no longer seems to be an instant effect...

16 8 Your spike shield hits In Memory Of Dark Mages Mk4v3 for 430 points of wind damage.
16 7 In Memory Of Dark Mages Mk4v3 uses Corruption, and hits you for 5317 crushing damage
16 6 Your spirit shield absorbs 424 points of damage from the attack into 4 points of spirit damage.
16 5 Lady Vashj gains the effect Turbulent Air.
16 4 Your spike shield hits Lady Vashj for 41 points of wind damage.
16 3 Lady Vashj hits you for 597 piercing damage.
16 2 Recovered 200 points of spirit.
16 1 You use Spirit Gem.

Hmm. Using only Tier-1 offensive spell doesn't seem to work very well. It only saved me some Elixirs, but it decreased my clearing speed by 30%. Not very efficient.

Looks like each new test is decreasing my MP Potions usage. I'll test out a different strategy tomorrow.

-serious consequences if your computer / internet lags
-no combat = monsters won't defeat players = no gifts
