Fix't.
Ubuntu 11.04 is my current OS. It was a pain in the ass with the Mac-faggotry they pulled with the whole "Unity" bullshit, but I was able to take care of that by installing GNOME-Panel and the "Compiz Config Settings Manager", which allowed me to remove that unsightly and annoying forced sidebar, which they claimed was "eye candy". Having things that look good is okay, but if they do so at the expense of being useful at all, then they're shit.
Another Problem is that the default File Manager, Nautilus, has its fucking memory-leaks. I could have sworn that they fixed that during the time that 10.04 was my OS, but they somehow broke it again.
I haven't touched Windows Vista since March(?), and that was only so I could fix the problem with the GRuB not finding Ubuntu. Vista is a slow, bulky OS that freezes up all the time, and when a window freezes, it prevents you from interacting with the controls for the window (resize, minimize).
