What distro do you want to try?

I have Ubuntu, Windows Vista home 32 bit, and Mac OSx 10.5

I desperately need an update

Got rid of Windows XP, because Win 7 does everything I needed from XP, except handling one old scanner, for which the makers didn't provide Win 7 drivers. The scanner works in free Windows XP installed within Win 7 through Windows Virtual PC.

There's no problem playing original Half-Life from Steam on Win 7, so I don't expect major problems with games in general.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Minor issues. Mostly the fact that I can't selectively shut the MIDI channel and have to go the full mute way instead.
