I use Arch Linux with KDE Plasma for my main desktop.
As well as a laptop with Windows 10 to play some games, but I plant to switch that to Linux some time in the next year.

Windows (for desktop), Android (for phone/developer), and Linux (for server).

Same, exact setup even. I use Apple because work mandates so and holy fuck, it's the worst piece of shit I have to use ever. It's very thin and light, ideal for watching anime or browsing websites though.

Windows 11 for work / a little gaming
True Nas for my home server

Too lazy to transfer to win 11, so still wim 10 for a while.

mac OS for 7 years now.

I shifted from windows.

I just hate the blue screen.

Now im able to finish all my workloads and i can play high res games.

windows is totally backdoored. it isnt safe for anything. Windows is only good for paying your taxes. Nothing else.

Man windows 10 is "dying" in a month. Anyone else remember when they said windows 10 would be the last version of windows and that they would now be continually updating it.

the whole point is to prevent people from accessing porn. Which is the need for all of the surveillance software on windows.

Fedora 41 dies today. journalctl showed multiple HW and SW errors.
Currently on Windows 10 (barf).
Probably Linux Mint 22 with MATE desktop later, still have some old 250G SSD lying around

well, Windows is a bad OS. Needless to say, it is completely backdoored for the NSA. The NSA can totally see everything you are doing on Windows 11. Windows is such a bad OS that it crashes and freezes for no reason whatsoever. Use Linux or Mac instead. The only thing Windows is good for is paying your taxes. Nothing else. Windows is very prone to malware and viruses. No amount of anti virus software will protect Windows from malware. Use Linux or Mac for protection against malware lol.

Kali Linux for learning infosec and I work in cyber security I use it a lot to brush up on things.

It works great, once you make it work like Windows 10. That is get the right click menu correct and clean up a few of the Windows "features".


My secondary computers.
1. Plex Server - Windows 10, works great, don't need to change it

2. TV computer - Windows 10 again, just needs something for streaming and browsing on the home TV.

Manjaro linux. My old windows laptop died, and After using it as a daily driver for the last 3 weeks I've had fewer issues than I did on win 11.

I don't trust Microsoft products for my privacy......
