yes, some do
I prefer XP or Vista if I'm going to use something antiquated that can't run new programs and it has to be a version of windows

At least they aren't using Windows ME

XP was good.

never tried Vista or 7

Didn't like 8 or 8.1

Using win10 as of now

W10 for now, will build a new PC with W11 when the the new hardware comes out later this year.
For me the major reason for switching is the better HDR support.

The newest CPUs still are having problems on Windows 11.

Still using Windows 10. I've got good specs but they overheat, combine that with windows and my laptop runs like shit especially if trying to run multiple different kinds of programs at once (having browser open while running games).

I wanna switch to some Linux distro like Mint or Pop sometime, but maybe after I get a new laptop or something. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Err no? Windows 11 has better HDR support, specifically auto-HDR, whereas Windows 10 you need to manually toggle it. Also the HDR algorithm is better on Windows 11, as it has better tone mapping support, whereas on Windows 10 you had to manually adjust it.

If you are watching 4K UHDs with HDR, this makes it a bit easier.

For 4k resolution, windows 10 still has slightly better performance.

clean the dust out, blow it out with air or open it up to clean it deeply
replace thermal compound if you want, too,

Still windows 11. I want to get out of windows, but many of my apps just harder to use on Linux. Not to mention the Linux community can be a bit toxic to a guy like me who aren't really tech savvy.

Windows 10 because my computer doesn't support 11. After the support for 10 ends, I will either have to upgrade my PC or see if I can handle Linux.
