Manjaro Linux. It brings the Arch Linux experience with no major hassle. So far it's stable. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

i'm using windows 10, linux is a hassle. i've used it i really like it, it doesn't do enough to make it better than windows.

i've used linux, it's good, but it's lack of support for windows progams, makes it annoying, i wish my shit was all linux compatible, but it's not.

Too many commas.

But on the content of this sentence is where I find my real issue.
I could make similar complaints that it's annoying trying to run unix/linux software on windows. The moment you start thinking of Unix as a different operating system with its own set of software, rather than as a windows replacement, is the moment you become freed.

There is very rarely a time when I cannot find unix software to do what I want; PC games are pretty much the sole exception because cloning games is both harder and more prone to litigation.

Also Wine is a thing if you really can't get over that. Keeps getting better. And winetricks makes doing complex things easier in it.

macOS Mojave, easily the best desktop OS out there. I run Ubuntu 18.04 for remote stuff like H@H though.

Windows 10, ver. 1803
(not yet at ver. 1809 where flash drives can be removed without "safely remove hardware" check, imo I'm good with the current arrangement because I play safe)

Only if you like having to tell it "yes, I'm sure I want to run my own goddamn code" every three minutes
Or you get absolutely everything from the "app store"
Also Snow Leopard was better.

Win10+Cygwin, with an array of servers running ubuntu bionic/debian. But the cygwin is just frustrating here and there. Heard WSL is a thing. Is anyone using this thing? Does it perform well?

Windows 7. I've had experience with Win10 corrupting itself on multiple occasions so usual avoid it. I do still use it in work, though. I've used Ubuntu a bit in the past. I've mostly been on Windows since 3.11 .
