I am using Windows 10 on one Partition of my Hdd and Linux Ubuntu on my other Partition of my Hdd. So I have both Windows 10 and Linux Ubuntu installed on my computer.

Upgraded from Ubuntu 16.04 to Ubuntu 18.04
But Gnome 3 was so deprived of functionality that I switched again, this time to Kubuntu 18.04

Win 10.

Too lazy to actually get a gentoo desktop install working properly so it's all I'll use from now on.

Gentoo for beginners is a joke. There are so many better options.

This question reminds me of my experience with previous Windows editions... (ME, XP, Vista.. etc). Miss those days. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I still remember when I started learning to format my only computer, Got my Windows XP CD ready, inserted to the PC, formatted my hard drive & install, and once I reached the main desktop,

*LAN not connected*

oh shit, how the hell am I gonna find drivers now?
(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

yep, I forgot to download my LAN drivers first. Now I can't connect to internet. LOL

I really thought that was a normal procedure. Searching & downloading drivers, such a hassle & time consuming (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) until Windows 7 & above came out, it was over.

Now I'm currently using Windows 10 Pro, and TBH, I really like it. Installing it wasn't complex & slow as in the past.
Man, things really have changed.

Android on my ThinkPad X201 Tablet, in dual-boot with Debian. When in laptop mode, usually Debian. When in tablet mode, typically Android.
The touch screen and stylus both work in Android-x86 (and debian, too), so it's nice for development and experimentation.

Switched to Kubuntu 18.04 after only a few days from upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04 from Ubuntu 16.04.
Gnome 3 is just horribly unintuitive and lacking in features. Not to mention that gigantic useless black bar taking up space at the top.

Edit:
Wait, I already posted about it.

Downgraded to Win 7 too.

Next time that happens to someone in windows 10, have them try running 'shutdown /s' in a command prompt or run dialogue. If my suspicions are correct it will allow shutting down without updating first.
I don't use win10, but I think that worked in win8 when I last had to use it.
