Decided not to switch to W10 for now so I'm still using Windows 7.

Now: Gentoo GNU/Linux on AMD64, xfce4 (laptop).
Desktop: Fedora AMD64.

I no longer use Windows, after Win10 auto-updating and the "I the hell I want".

Was planning on sticking with Windows 7 for a while, but decided to just get a cheap Windows 10 Pro key. Got used to it, but hate the way start menu and system options are organized.

Windows 10 and I'm not sure why everyone keeps hating on it. I've been using it for 9 months and have no issue with it.

Once Vulcan becomes mainstream or DX11 becomes doable in Wine, the year of the linux desktop will be fully upon us. Vulcan has already shown to have better framerates in DOOM 2016.

Win10 right now, I'll probably stick with Windows for the foreseeable future unless the next version is really shit. I'm too familiar with it to want to change to a Linux distro, and I don't want to constantly fight the Wine battle to use programs like Photoshop and AE.

I am using windows ever since i remember.
Currently win10 but i also tested Ubuntu for a few week on my old laptop but
wasn't convinced.
Generally it was no bad OS , it had a good desing and was easy to use for office work and surfing but Windows was easier to use for gaming.
I tried to do some things i read on the web but after a short while I gave up.
Nevertheless i think that it is pretty good OS if you use it for your work PC.

Still not convinced with Windows 10. Going to stick with 7 for another 2-3 years then hop over to 8.1 if 10 is still as dreadful.

Wait, you prefer 8.1 over 10? That's new. I thought everyone hated the shit outta 8 for not having a start menu. Not to mention 8 still costs money while 10 is free, and 8 is inferior in every technical aspect (there's still spyware in it, just no Cortana or windows store).
