I'm using the Windows 7 RC. I'll probably buy the full version, it's really working quite well.

Before that, I was using XP.

You also have to understand that 3d0xp0xy is a UNIX elitist, for whatever reason.

RAH RAH (certain OS), GO! FIGHT! WIN!

Grats on wasting your time thinking your OS is amazing while whatever sociability you ever had suffers due to your pathetic insecurities. I bet you're one of these philistines that thinks the Apple OS is garbage when it's still a UNIX shell.

Oh, and Alpine doesn't do spam.

It sure as hell looked like spam at first glance. And you can't really tell unless you go to the linked page, which no one should do as it can be a trap.

Anyway, why buy windows? wtf? Unless you own a company, nobody'll check and WGA BIOS hacked versions of every OS are available and fool microsoft easily. They allow piracy on purpose to gain market dominance and force official people to buy their software. Much like AutoCAD, PhotoShop, 3dmax and loads of other overpriced software that's overpriced just because they can and don't have any competition.

Right now, depending on where I am in this place, I'm either using Windows 2000, Windows Vista Business SP2, Windows 7 RC (I'll do a full version eventually), or Xubuntu 9.04.

The Xu box is my little media center-ish rig in the living room (need to move it to newer hardware and a smaller case, honestly -- full sized tower with glowing case fans is all sorts of lolwut for media center, but every repurpose is repurpose). The double-Windows machine is my bedroom box (Vista and 7 RC on bare metal). Running NoMachine, so I can poke the Xu box from my room and change the music without getting out of bed. Win2000 runs in a VirtualBox here, for testing stuff I don't trust yet.

Will likely move the 2000 disc image over to the media box to get all the testing stuff away from my day to day stuff. Wouldn't object to changing the virtual machine over to XP, simply because stuff doesn't always work on 2000. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I upgraded to Karmic Koala yesterday. The new features are decent, but it's tricky to customise the login screen now. Oh well.

When i just want to browse the web and do some work its Ubuntu 9.04 (rumor is that 9.10 has alot of bugs and stuff after a upgrade), when it comes to flightsimming and playing UT 99, windows XP SP2 (too lazy to go up to SP3)

X-Plane 9 FTW

XP used to be my primary OS, but after a epic fail while testing 7, a good deal of my shiat was destroyed on the XP drive, and i said screw it. Switched over and the only problem i have is that the NTFS support still needs work as my storage partition needs to be error checked every 2 weeks due to random folder loss and file corruption (my music folder needs help lol)
