Windows 7 is the best O for now. If linux has proper video game support i would defiantly switch sides though.

Still using Windows 7.

I tried to use different Linux distributions so many times, but each and every time I got some small problems which I couldn't get solved, like inaccuracy of the mouse, sound problems and the like.

Today I'm also playing so little games (that are the main reason for Windows), that I might try it again.

Windows 7, I don't see a reason to upgrade to Windows 8.1.

Using OSX (Mavericks).

I prefer PCs generally (my desktop gaming PCs are all Windows 7) but thanks to a happy accident I got a Mac Air for free. I have to say that they are wonderful laptops.

That said, if needed a replacement I would probably opt for another $300 Chromebook.

Using Arch; SSH'd into Slackware server. I haven't got the motivation to set up my 8.1 'top yet.
