The problem of Shielding Plate is not that it's bad; it's just that it's soooo slow (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

Besides, high level players of 1H are more then tanky enough and don't usually need the extra block protection; while they need as much extra ADB as possible to enhance clearing speed (and Shielding doesn't have it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) )

These two effects combined makes Shielding plate practically useless; it can be useful to low levels (say < l.250) while they wait for a good Power piece, but a Mag Power is already vastly superior to a high block Leg Shielding.
