That was a good price on the savage helmet, on par with what I paid for mine (given the quality difference). I think it might get used, the guy is level 396 probably waiting to soulfuse it at 400, just like I am.

That's roughly what 90%+ savage of slaughter is worth these days, but it can be over 2 times more if lucky, because some players value savage power much more than others. Position (shoes, helmet, pants) doesn't matter for price except regarding luck, in terms of which players with enough money are looking for which parts.

My income is just 250K c/day by completing all the arenas and REs. 18m sounds a unreachable dream for me.

I think armor > leggings > helmet > gauntlets > boots when I looked at the past auction prices. But maybe the difference is small or it's just my wrong impression.

I just wanted J5+any on my peerless boots. Sadly the first 20 IW didn't give me a single J, not even a J1.

Many if not most peerless names go for only 50k, like leather etc. I was going to try to win the Peerless Arctic Oak Staff of Heimdall this week, but I forgot about it as I was bidding on black spandex panties, which were a great purchase for me.

I think what sssss2 is doing makes sense, actually. Presuming he gets a PHOH eventually, afterwards he may be shrining for cloth anyway. And there is a greater chance he will get some Peerless Cloth of Heimdall than getting a PHOH, so the payoff to himself will happen earlier.

After he gets 2~3 Peerless Heimdall pieces, then his chances of completing the set drop, and he would probably shrine for PHOH (if he still did not purchase one by then) and return to cloth for the final pieces afterward.

The chance of getting a PHOH is ~0.83% (oak = 1/4, hallowed = 1/10, heimdall = 1/3).

The chance of getting any slot radiant heimdall is actually exactly the same at 0.83% (radiant = 1/20, heimdall = 1/6).

Of course, ideally he'd want robe as his prof slot (since he has 600 base prof), bringing it down slightly lower... but he also collects for all styles, and charged chance is higher than radiant - so if he's looking for any charged fenrir + any radiant heimdall, the chance is now 0.83% + 1.66% = ~2.5%. Though that's the chance to get any of those pieces - to get the entire lot, the chances are fucking abysmal. (I've simulated full sets to average something like FoS 8000 attempts).

Staff is vaguely economic to FoS for - sssss2 has just gotten extremely unlucky not to get his PHOH in over 150 attempts. Shrining for armors is madness (if you want to collect them all). But it's also basically the only way people like him can advance any further - just keep grinding, endlessly praying for lotteries, and burning credits on the shrine, for any opportunity at generating peerlesses.

As lestion said, the chance of getting a PHOH is very low, and my holy proficiency is already maxed out, and now I play a dark mage.

So I want charged fenrir or demon-fiend, but other radiant/charged gear is good for collecting.

But, the result is...

Oh yeah, for anyone else's reference, since sssss2 would use any of the big holy staffs (and they're all at least usable) the chance is 0.83% (PHOH) + 0.42%x3 (PHKD, PHKH, PHKHs) = 2.09%. It's seriously bad luck that he didn't get any of them. (I assume he also played in both of the recent PHKH lotteries and lost them both, same as me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif))
