Remember that shrining for melee weapons is basically the second worst thing to do with trophies besides leather - almost everything you get is going to be salvage or bazaar, and those materials are the lowest value. Cloth is higher value, but it's still setting fire to money. (If you care about money, sell your trophies to people who are looking for them on the WTB board.)
