This is my second equipment Lottery win (first one). Probably should have opted out of the first prize, I don't think such equipment piece would have any practical uses in the current meta. Oh well, at least I have one more Peerless (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I'm curious to know how much the Peerless Fiery Rapier would get at auction. Too bad it's not level 500 then people could share it without soulfuse.

I have bought tickets for almost every Lottery since I started playing this game over three years ago. Here are some details from about half a year ago:

I buy one ticket for most Lotteries these days, maybe a bit more if there is a big Lottery going on. In total I have spent over 45000 kGP on Lotteries and only ever won one equipment (with one ticket), 3 Golden Lottery Tickets (I think) and some Tokens (maybe ~5 times in total). I have participated in Lotteries for about three years almost every day now, so about 10 prizes won in about 2000 Lotteries, not very good odds. Not to mention spending ~4500 kGP per prize on average (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

At the moment I have spent around 52000 kGP on Lotteries and after that post I have won something in four Lotteries (post 1, post 2 and the post above). So I guess it's about 14 prizes in about 2300 Lotteries, still not very good odds.

I tend to opt out of stuff like: non-matching Staffs, non-proficiency Cotton, some Phase suffixes, Leather of all but Deflection and Protection, Plate of all but Dampening, Protection and Shielding and most Kite Shields and Bucklers. I don't usually opt out of "useless" Two-Handed and One-Handed equipment because I think they might be interesting to try out in some obscure experimental set (and I don't actually expect to win them with one ticket anyway). I should probably opt out of more equipment because I don't play that actively anymore, but on the other hand I have some weird attraction to Peerless equipment (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

At least winning another equipment piece in Lottery allowed me to fill another line to the Lottery section of my Legendary Drops Log (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)
