If you're going to 1h for a long time, you should probably forge whatever shield you have to 15 or 20+ block. It's a whole lot cheaper without a Force Shield but it also means you'll likely need to Featherweight at least one piece when you play to get under 70 burden. I'd prefer a force shield in the long run, but it depends on your funds (and if you plan to get something better eventually, the kite shield is a better cheap investment).
