Sorry, there won't be less crappy posts, since people still want the dawn awards. Now people will make their crappy posts in actual discussion threads, making them even more unreadable than they are now.

I have to somewhat agree with this point... instead of dumping lousy posts in lousy threads now they will do it in threads that actually contribute to something (unless the forum is moderated), so back to the drawing board? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Could you possibly consider adjusting the dawn of a new day forum post requirements for the full 5% then? That was the root cause of the spam and it seems like this will just divert the spam everywhere else at this rate.

whatever. fact is, people were quite used to those spam threads and many users don't even put their noses out of HV section, yet still want to speak about the first thing it comes int their minds (i myelf am one of those), so maybe you'd better either let one useless spam thread to live or let 'official my little ponyverse chat' become more spammy than what is now. consider also that you can't possibly be everywhere and you need to keep your work under acceptable conditions (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
