The dish is called Ichiya Boshi (一夜干し, dried seafood, literally means dried overnight): (IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/MPqZhWu.png) Here is another Ichiya Boshi: (IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/pf94s1F.jpg) The oil from the fish is the best part of the dish. Here's Linzer Torte's baby brother: Monster Number 55, Linzer Cookie. Like its big brother (on which it is based), the Linzer cookie makes use of ground nuts in the dough. It's filled with jam -- either the traditional red currant, or the more modern raspberry and apricot varieties -- and coated with a dusting of confectioner's sugar.

Not really. I've just been working on a personal project the past couple of weeks, and hadn't found the time to post on this thread as much. To make up for it, here's Monster Number 56, Marron Glacé. They're candied chestnuts -- specifically, chestnuts coated and glazed with sugar syrup -- popular in the chestnut-growing regions of France and Italy.

This monster name is amazing as usual, but sadly I can't find all your monster names with the forum search box =(

QUOTE(Kuoo @ Jul 30 2016, 20:42) Yes, all these monsters belong to Kuoo. That's why I called this list Kuoo's Monster Menagerie.Moving on, here's Monster Number 16's doppelgänger. It's Monster Number 57, Frozen Yogurt. There's a version that looks just like Monster Number 45, but I think this one is more photogenic.
