- Various layout changes, primarily to the gallery page, aimed at increasing usability and navigability particularly on mobile devices.

- Gallery covers are now somewhat larger. These larger covers are still being generated, and are currently available for galleries with an ID over 385000. It will take another week or so to generate the rest, and they will eventually be used elsewhere as well.

- Significant improvements to the gallery screen when viewing at narrower widths.

- New and easier to click buttons to select thumbnail size and row count.

- The page number below gallery thumbnails is no longer displayed by default. The page number is shown when hovering over a thumbnail. You can also turn it back on from the settings screen.

- Comment voters are no longer displayed by default. The default behavior is now showing them by hovering or clicking the score of a comment. You can revert to always showing them on the settings screen.

- There is now just one link to the external code generator. You select a code type from the generator itself, and it will remember and default to the last one you used.

- The old size field was split into File Size and Length, and a gallery with any resized files is now indicated by a "RES" in the filesize field.

- Translations and rewrites are now indicated by TR and RW respectively.

- The commenting field is now the same width and font as the actual comments, which should make it easier to format a comment.

- Improvements to the pageinator logic: should now never use the ... cell to represent single pages.

The font in some pages seems bigger

Great changes! This also fixes the dreaded normal vs large issue with new galleries that have a small amount of pictures, apparently.

The right side now kinda feels a bit empty. Also at certain zoom levels H@H download link becomes like this:

Other than that it great to easily change gallery size.

I wonder if the hiding of the upload button (moved to my galleries) will generate fewer uploads... I think that it may discourage newbies from contributing - they won't realize how easy it is to upload stuff.

If you didn't tag any tag , when you click the "Enter new tags, separated with comma..." will disappear.
but if you tagging some tag, the "Enter new tags, separated with comma..." won't disappear

I don't like the huge amount of space the info box takes up now. The cover is way too big now, I'd appreciate it if you added the option to display small covers like before. I assume most people browse the galleries on a desktop computer, and these changes are a bit cumbersome (you don't need so much space between links if you use a mouse).

Having two buttons for essentially the same action seemed a bit overkill for something used by <1% of all visitors, and we needed the room.

I don't like the huge amount of space the info box takes up now.

Maybe you should look at a gallery with tags in more than three categories. The box is narrower than before as well, so it doesn't actually take up more space than it used to.

I guess time will tell whether or not this will pan out; only way is to try and see what happens.

Is it possible to have a 'revert to previous UI' function for all those whinging about it, though? And make it prominent in all the usual places? That way you can tell whether or not people are serious about not liking the new design and layout.

Not sure if it was there before (i never bothered to hover over the thumbnails before) but the original filename appears as well when you hover over the image. This is great to compare the images against what you have on disk.

(also, as the first 10 sha1 characters are anyway on the link of the image it allows to verify what images you have automatically)
