Okay~ So first, the door is still open for scan commissions, so get on it. The second is some people have left a physical book with me and I don't know what to do with it. Yea, you know who you are. Either it's an abandoned book, a bonus piece of an actual scan item or you just forgot about it.

So! What this means is that I need you to contact me ASAP in regards of what exactly you'd like to do with it. Are you relinquishing it, dumping it, don't need it? For those who may be new, check my front page as I have a pretty good breakdown on how it goes about this whole thing that I hope it beneficial to you. As usual if there's anything currently released you're looking for, I can and will have it lumped together until both current and C97 items arrive for you.

Note for scan pricing, while it's still the same rates as always, you have the option to bumping up XL size scans for a minor uptick of $0.65pp ($0.55pp for tanks).

Important information regarding Covid-19 as of April 24th:

So, as it stands now, we're pretty fucked in to do for the time being because EMS shipping can't be used. What this basically means is that while I'm able to still order goods and such, it'll take a hell of a lot longer to receive the items. From my understanding well into a month or two. I can't say for certain since I obviously never used it, but it's going to be a doozy for the foreseeable future until there's a change, hopefully sooner rather than later.

So! For anyone that has read this and still wants to partake in business with me, how this will go down is that I'll take your order per usual but I will NOT take any scan fees initially until the items are in my hands.

So basically, Initial order ($) --> Shipping ($) --> Scans ($)

This is only for Japan to U.S. If you're living in the States and wish to send me your physical items, that's totally doable. Other nonsense like lettering and the like are fine per usual. Hopefully there will be a change in the coming month(s), but for now this is the bullshit we all are currently stuck in.... so, shit. ( ;_;)

Note: While there could still be a delay with Mandarake, I think for the time being they'll still doing DHL shipping which is pretty fast once the shipping gets going, so if you're wanting to order from there, you could receive the items quicker than if going through Tora or Melonbooks since I shouldn't need a proxy to get anything from them.

Note regarding DHL shipping. I was informed that the proxy I use will accept DHL shipping, which is about as fast as EMS shipping, only it's 4x more expensive. So for an idea, a usual book is 2000Y to ship, with DHL it would be 8000Y or so. I'm thinking I'll have to take group orders or something to split up the shipping costs.... fuck.

Note, I'll mention now that having just completed my first shipping order in the current pandemic age, I now have more information on shipping methods and such, so as of today..... Everything's fine and back on the norm guys! It wasn't as bas as I had thought, so things are as normal as ever, short of slight delays in domestic shipping within Japan. Wanted: Bitcoin based proxy.

Basically I'm helping someone looking for a money proxy to accept their bitcoin in exchange for paying me cash through Paypal to in turn by their scanning related products. So once the money is sorted out, they pay you in BC, you in turn pay me the fees in cash and I proceed to buy the goods from said doujinshi proxy, thus keeping the circle of life nice and thriving.

It's weird that I've taken up editing again... But here we are in 2020, the twilight zone of the century.

So, despite being a nobody here, I know there are a few people who were relying on me for their projects, and yet I've been AWOL for close to two weeks. Reason being is a bit of a doozy, so here's the short and long of it: Basically, I was caught up in that recent hurricane which kicked the ass of the US. The damage it dealt with a big one that totally fucked up my house with some physical damage to the roof which caused some of the ceiling to fall in, which was already bad but on top of that it caused a power outage in the area, that went on for a few days. No lights, wifi or a section of ceiling, so I couldn't do much of anything, but things only got worse.

What began as a simple hotel stay while the landlord was having repairs done, I come to find out the house is too far gone so she opted to just sell off the damn place, which means I had to find a new location which you can imagine took a toll on me from house hunting to moving. Very painful experience.

But now I can safely declare that bit of pain is over and I'll be back on track Monday to resume my backlog of scans, lettering and whatever else I have to look forward to.

Taking extra commissions for extra X-mas cash, let's go. Scanning, editing, proofreading and whatever the hell else there is.
