immediately is hardly the word, i you get a doujin (20-30 pages) in a couple of hours you're lucky. hathdl is there as an extra not a main functionality.

check log_out to see if the H@H downloader thread did start at all. And check your quality, H@H will not download files if its quality/trust is too low.

there is an absurdly huge gallery. I intend to use H@H downloader to download the resampled image to save data transfer (read : money $$).

Tried restarting the client yet?

There are a few bugs in the current version which can cause it to crash partially. Disable logging to get rid of most of these.

But in general, do you have any kind of monitoring on the network around client? Can you see max network speed (possibly sampled) over the period the client goes bonkers?

The maximum amount that can be earned per day per client is 25 hath.

Is this information outdated?
My client is showing 29.8 / day as hathrate (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

- H@H hath gain rates have been fully revamped and will no longer reward splitting up a server into multiple clients.

Raw measured speed is no longer a factor; the gain is now fully determined by the actual hitrate and effective number of static ranges (which again is limited by storage capacity and speed).

The daily gain is now set as 1 base hath, + 0.15 hath per average hit/minute, +0.01 hath per static range. (If quality drops below 5000, there is a linear reduction in the static range gain to reflect the reduced utility)

There are no longer any caps to the maximum hath rate.

These changes will overall greatly award long-lived high-capacity clients, as those are the most useful for the network. Other clients shouldn't see significant differences from before, unless the assigned storage space was extremely low compared to the speed.

- The implicit penalty for low-traffic clients with "close" IP addresses is no longer necessary, and was removed.

- Average hitrate is now smoothed over a whole week rather than a day, to prevent excessive fluctuations caused by traffic load. (The variance might still be somewhat larger than before.)

- The maximum number of allocatable static ranges per client was increased from 2048 to 3072.

All awesome changes. I more than doubled to 55.4! Another 1000 static ranges will bump it by 10.

I wonder what Stony gets now. Probably something stupidly high.
