don't really want to complain with the auctioneer and i'm too lazy to check all those bids but a bit messy end, if i may say it.

I know what they mean. No offense, but the confusion was created mostly because of the wrong "Updated to # Post" part.

Can you clarify this? He apparently increased his own bid because you updated the main page incorrectly, so he thought there was another challenger.
