Tenb, a question: Now, we can infinite salvage-> buy back an bound equipment to reforge it and get some HGmaterial. It's much cheaper than use shards. Is it legel, if one use this way to re-IW equipment or get materials? Thank you~ (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

You do realize it costs a minimum of 10k to do this every time, right?

Well getting an hg some scraps and saving some shards at the same time would cost a lot more. This post has been edited by danixxx: Sep 29 2014, 18:47

Gaining few "free" scraps may be no big deal, but reforging an equip which has 2+ level of potencies with only 10k is a big advantage. This post has been edited by Cats Lover: Sep 29 2014, 18:51

Maybe only show the buy back for upgraded and IW leveled equipments? Or only mag+ ones? I.e. stuff that is actually salvaged by accident. Currently the shop becomes quite cluttered.

Buyback cost is minimum 10k, but 10x of sell cost. It is around 320-330 PXP for normal equipment and 270 PXP for rare. Let's say a 320 PXP exquisite sell cost around 5k, so it would cost 50k to buy back. For rare magnificents, buyback cost could easily exceed 100k, so i don't see much point to do it at high levels.
Though, don't know how condition will change buyback cost. If what i think is right, you could deliberately reduce item cost to almost nothing. I didn't crack exact formula, but have some ideas, how condition affects item cost - magnificent item with 1 condition will cost as crappy average.

Low condition affect on selling price. It's directly proportional to each other. For example an equip with 60% condition has 60% of bazaar price in comparison to when it has 100% condition.

Point one, not all the high level equipment are rare. I can buyback a mag cotton in around 15000. Plus the bouns HGCloth, it is cheaper than a shards. Point two, it is almost impossible to buy 500-1000 shards immdiately which it is needed in high level IW. So... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) But using up the condition will be a good idea. Err, if I use a mag one with 0% condition, can I get infinite HG materials through salvage->buyback? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Make the buy back cost double for every additional buy back. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) e.g. 10k -> 20k -> 40k -> 80k -> .......

Well, shame on me for not properly analyzing the "how will people try to abuse this" angle on the buyback.
Cost is now 50k or 5x normal buy value, whichever is highest.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Yep with 10k credits. (I dunno the bazaar price of 0% condition since it has some error like base price. But there's 10k as minimum for buying salvaged equip anyway. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)) BTW you can also get free 2 scraps when salvaging mag equip which has selling price > 500. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) +Add: Oh, now it's corrected. Never mind, everyone! I reduced the minimum back to 10,000C, but salvaging gear will now also fully repair it. I don't believe there are any situations where it would possibly make sense to salvage something to repair it and get some mats, but if there are, please do share. It will be useful for non-rare equipment in many situation~ (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) QUOTE(danixxx @ Sep 29 2014, 18:58) Welp you can still salvage to save amnesia shards instead of reforging and as a bonus you get mats.
