QUOTE(Tenboro @ Sep 6 2014, 15:43) You people.
So what I'm planning is that it's going to affect trophy hand-ins at Snowflake's Shrine. It'll keep a running tally of the total value of the trophies you hand in, and for every x value it will generate a guaranteed Peerless.
What I haven't decided is the required value per Peerless, and whether or not they will be bound. It will by no means make it rain Peerless on the game, and judging from how many trophies people have stocked up, it will probably be somewhere between 1 million and 10 million in buy value.
(IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/d7TBk.gif) i'm all for more Peerless even if i can never afford them. thanks 10b. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

making peerless widespread and introducing a new tier can be very bad for the economy.
It makes people poorer in that it results in the depreciation of people's existing assets.

i don't think he will introduce another tier: i mean, he just put up peerless (which has granted max stats) and removed fine to avoid redundances, it will be quite pointless... besides, the fact that peerless chance may raise by some % points doesn't really mean that peerless shades/power will spread (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Economy? Err... Maybe I like the thought of 10b pressing the "reset-all-assets-to-zero", but that will never happen, because: - Cat Girls and donators to this site are fundamental - High level accounts always get more and better items for just "being" high levels - Credits and Hath are generated by just logging in after the Dawn event - Inflation /is/ necessary to force grinding
So, make all that FoS peerless thingies ACCOUNT BOUND. That stops peeps to loan hath to get it and the impact is significantly lower on the economy after all. Prices for trophies will be a bit higher, but hey, who has not hoarded them yet?

1) Introduce very rare soulbound artifact drop - pony tear. 2) Keep hidden track of global number of shrined trophies. 3) If a player offers a pony tear and the global number increased by over 10 million since the last time he offered a pony tear - guarantee a peerless item. 4) Follower of Snowflake perk reduces the required amount from 10 million to 5 million. 5) ??? 6) Everyone will stop hoarding trophies. EDIT: A more Snowflake-like modification to the suggestion - make peerless based on a roll from 1 to 10 million (5 for FoS). Success is if the number chosen is equal or lower than the number of shrined trophies since last attempt. This post has been edited by lolzerznijmniewdupe: Sep 6 2014, 19:23

well, maybe switching to normal difficulty and face-rolling those nice lvl 225+ arenas should do it to get some trophies. I do them because of those nice 200+ credits a school girl can drop. The random number generator is a ?$%$ sometimes, but what the hell....

i guess no one is mad enough to get FoS before, so 10B just make FoS that improves drop quality including slightly increase Peerless drop rate without balancing/fine-toning it yet. he just focus his time on other more urgent issues. ie H@H, MPV, etc. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) so i guess Jenga is the only that got FoS, so more congrats. QUOTE(watisthis @ Sep 6 2014, 13:24) Wait why did mingyannu get banned? chinese gold farming? I made a ban list... that everybody could check... but damnatio memoriae is Crown policy, so we don't know any mingyannu here. QUOTE(Frederiksc @ Sep 6 2014, 14:49) - Inflation /is/ necessary to force grinding Why would you want to do that? It doesn't benefit The Site (angels sing) in any way. More like equipment inflation is a natural consequence of a fantasy world where everlasting gear appears out of nowhere every time you kill something. But if you offer to balance it with equipment sinks, people Do Not Want, so they get inflation instead. Even though they're on a hamster wheel either way, it gives them more of a subjective sense of Progress.
