Was this re-updated lately? My H@H per day recently shot up in the past few days, way higher than pre-change OR post-change, without any increase to my uptime or my internet speed.

@Tenb: Completely unrelated (but since you titled this thread galleries instead of H@H...), can we please get back the list of galleries we've recently archived? I don't see why it was removed in the first place. I often have my downloads interrupted or broken for various reasons (browser and ISP) and the list makes finding the links as well as making sure I didn't miss something, much much easier. Thanks.

I understand, I'm just a little confused then how to acquire "Static ranges". The wiki said any client on for 24 hours should acquire "possibly 1 every hour".

Static ranges will only be assigned to faster clients that have a proven track record, and only if it has enough disk space set aside to store all the files for the static range - in other words, 1/65536th of all hosted images. Currently, the minimum requirement is 250 MB disk space and 3 KB/s effective speed per assigned range. A client can be assigned an arbitrary number of ranges depending on its capabilities.

How many static ranges your client actually have? (check by clicking the client name in https://e-hentai.org/hentaiathome.php )

ive posted before about how my rows switched from 10 to 4 instantly.
i did was i was told and deleted the cookies and all that.
now, every now and then, rows will still revert back to 4 at random.
when this first happened i deleted the cookies again, but i still have this problem

Well, I am. I just tried it again on all three URLs and it happens every time.
Using [addons.mozilla.org] DNS Flusher, I see it on either uploader - 94.100.22.213 or 94.100.18.173.

Maybe the page is cached somewhere between you and EH?

Before the revamp, thumbnail rows went 4-8-14-20-40, with donation stars needed to unlock the last level; now they go 4-10-20-40.

The old thumbnail cookie values for ranks 2 and 3 were probably tr_4 and tr_7.

I think the uploader is running a sanity check on the cookies which hasn't been updated and doesn't recognize the new tr_5 value, so it bumps you back down to the default.

I just tested with the uconfig value edited to tr_4 and tr_7, and the uploader didn't bump those to tr_2. But tr_8, which would have been another "insane" value, it does bump to tr_2.

Tenboro and Blue Penguin both probably tested with the maximum, tr_20, which it likewise leaves alone because 40 thumbs was supported back when the code was written.

tr_5 is staying set now after visiting those three URLs. Seems to be fixed, thanks.
