I am reasonably certain that [Aokihoshi (Flyking)] is an original Chinese language (Taiwanese?) group. Their artwork is superb, and I'd like to see their releases TLed, starting with this and followed by this. In case we have any Chinese speakers reading this, if you have some time on your hand - let me know!

Also, if anyone else knows any other groups producing anime parodies in Chinese (or Korean), let me know - I am curious to what degree [Aokihoshi (Flyking)] is an exception here.

I don't think so. I looking through some pages and notice that all sfx are Japanese characters.
If it's originally in Chinese it would be weird to have Japanese mix in there.

The samples are in Japanese.

I assume that they're like [Wish ~Kibou no Tsubasa~], in that they release a Chinese version and a Japanese version. I'm guessing it's likely they just use Japanese SFX in some places for both versions.

https://e-hentai.org/s/a55205af71/596202-9 for example, is assuredly a scan of a Chinese book (it's obvious considering how poor a scan it is), but still contains Japanese SFX.

Just read through the first doujin and is starting to work on it, need some canon buffs first:
Did 10032 ever call Touma by name? If so did she use any honorific (san, kun, or even nii)? The way she call Touma in this work is a bit different and I would like to know if that came from her canon speak style or Chinese fanon.
Also how is Mikoto's "aitsu" usually translated? "that guy"?

In any case, don't hold your breath yet, I'm currently in San Se Fang's colloquial, idiomatic, historical reference and four walls-of-text hell so this might take some time.

10032 has a very weird way of speaking. She tends to describe her feelings on third person, and in fact I don't think she ever refers to herself in first person, through I may be a bit wrong on that...

Criticism and English correction welcomed. As a noob translator, I feel subconsciously constrained by Chinese syntax and tend to bring the same structure into English, resulting in sentences that look like calqued instead of properly translated.

The pronoun correction may make the English version more consistant, but in the Chinese (and probably Japanese) original, there's no way to see if "Misaka" is used as 1st person or 3rd because verbs don't conjugate for person, and topic noun is generally omitted in clauses.

At least in p.15, Aokihoshi let Imouto use 「我」 ("I") once, and that likely contributed to my subconscious decision to put I (instead of Misaka or she) in all those occurrences where the topic of "Misaka" is omitted in Chinese.

I would hazard to guess that the Japanese original is meant to be a fancy 1st person pronoun. Since pronoun in East Asian languages is a open category while it isn't in English, it's treated as a case of self-reference in 3rd person. Since the English canon/fanon let her take the 3rd person verb agreement in speech, you might want to change both the pronouns and verb agreements.

I blame the author for the first one, he put a very direct imperative 你看 ("You see" or just "See"), followed by jargon and high-register vocabulary. And on the hindsight, he failed gender agreement there (should have used 妳, feminine you)

Furthermore, the 2nd,3rd and 5th lines of page 5 are supposed to be spoken by Misaka Imouto, but it seems like Aokihoshi had let her slipped out of character by using ordinary way of speech and "I" as pronoun.

At first I was going to make a debut out of Mikoto and Kuroko, but unexpectedly it was surprisingly hard to develop this pair. On one side it doesn’t feel right if Mikoto was taking the lead, but on the other hand I don’t have a vague idea of how to let Kuroko be the dominant one. This had me quite a headache for quite some time now. If neither paths could be taken, I might as well start a new path, therefore I tried letting the main protagonist to lead the way. Because the plot took a different direction midway, the plot transitions might feel unsmooth, but the story managed to develop successfully in the end.
It’s quite regrettable that I didn’t pair up Mikoto and Kuroko successfully. Although I do quite fancy the Yuri genre, but I just don’t have it when it comes to developing a good plot for a Yuri story. I would need more practice on this aspect. I hope that I can create a Yuri work that will not only satisfy myself, but also to everyone reading ^^.

Last October, Xindian Prefecture has its main library relocated and reopened, and the mayor proudly compares it to a 5 star library. So naturally I chose a day when I’m free and went to the library with my little sister. The library was situated on the third floor so it was easy to find even from the sideways. However we couldn’t find the entrance to the library from the front stairways, after we asked through the information counter then we knew the entrance was at the back section of the building. Riding the elevator to the third floor, the side paths of the corridors were full with artworks before we entered the library, then there was the art exhibition center and the computer center, after passing those the library’s entrance was finally visible. Unexpectedly there was a cafe once we entered the library, it’s the first time I’ve seen a library that sells coffee and boy did it leave an impression. After strolling over the place, besides the French windows, there’s not much to say about it. The library felt weird to me since it’s so sumptuous for a place for people to read books. The next time I’m having writer’s block I could consider coming to this place to change a place of mind, maybe I can even get some unexpected spark from this place ^^.

It’s quite regrettable that I didn’t pair up Mikoto and Kuroko successfully. Although I do quite fancy the Yuri genre, but I just don’t have it when it comes to developing a good plot for a Yuri story. I would need more practice on this. I hope that I can create a Yuri work that will not only satisfy myself, but also to everyone reading it ^^.
