Even though this is a 3 story compilation, it's still not a long editing project at 35 pages. Of the three animes featured here, I've only seen Big O myself. Still, decent art, not over the top with sfx or a million bubbles, not too shabby! I'll update this page when Red_Piotrus's bounty goes up.

One quick note, though. There are a couple of spots, one in Blue Submarine and one in Crest of the Stars, where I am a little unsure as to the terms being used. Usually I can get around this with a fanbase wiki, but I had limited success this time. If anyone has seen one of those two series and would like to chime in with a confirmation or correction, I'd love to hear from you!

What's the remaining issue with Crest? I may be able to figure it out, I am quite familiar with the series.

Pyramid House is a guilty pleasure for me, and with full color this doujin takes the cake! Dragon Ball is about as classic as it gets, and if it's going to be Dragon Ball then it has to be Number 18. The story is pretty much just what you'd expect when the main male is a mad scientist. Pyramid House may not be breaking new ground here, but they do what they do with flair and aplomb! The editing is 29 pages. This one is eligible for my bonus bounty for good quality sfx replacement as well.

EDIT: @Red_Piotrus, the Crest question has to do with the very first page of that story. The name of her ship is the バールロイル (Baaruroiru). I couldn't seem to find a good match for anything terribly close to that. I DID find a ship called the Basrogrh, which Lafiel did captain, so I went with that name. Given the sizable difference in spelling, however, I'm not exactly full of confidence.

As for Basrogrh, I feel like someone just reached down into the scrabble bag and tossed out a handful of tiles without caring about such trivial things as, god forbid, vowels. Just saying that word in my head makes me imagine some sort of snarling monstrosity.

I like the basic format of the TL Notes/Credits Page, though there are a few small changes I'd like to see. I'd like a "Translator Notes" title at the top. I'd also like the two card notes to look as similar as possible. Something like "Page Number, Card Name (Card type): Card Description." The 3rd note also needs a page number.

Everything else looks good to me!

So, this one's got a bit of a story behind it. About a month ago I saw a doujin in the Translation Requests forum that attracted my interest. I told the original poster that I would stick it in my "To Do" folder (currently holding 40-50 projects), but that he shouldn't expect anything really unless it got a bounty. A few days ago I hit Rank-A as a bounty translator and thought doing this one for free would be a nice way to give something back to the community. So here it is, proof that the Translation Requests forum isn't ONLY for the "random translation help" thread!

The doujin is 18 pages of fairly easy editing, and the scan quality is good. The story is nice in its simplicity. A boy has a hot older sister who may not be as promiscuous as he had always believed from her attitude. Each flips the expectations of the other until neither one of them quite believes the situation once all the pretensions are stripped away. It's the sort of thing I really like: hot, with a nice dash of sweetness.

I'll post the bounty once it goes up. This project will also be eligible for my quality sfx replacement bonus bounty (PM ME FIRST!).

I've translated quite a number of old St. Rio works at this point. Mostly I find the art style nostalgic, as the Yuna a la Mode doujins may be the first hentai-type products I ever downloaded. Love Dashi 2 is short for St. Rio at 33 translated pages, and contains 2 stories. The Kitty story is pretty basic fare, but Kouenji Rei really made me laugh with his. It's a shame Rei's story has such small bubbles when we have small scans. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) If anyone knows a way to go about getting higher quality RAWs, I'm all ears.

Yes, I m worried about some of those Love Dashi scans quality. If we keep doing them in order, how far do you think we can go before we had a terrible scan that's not worth our effort?

From what I can remember, Love Dashi 15 is the worst (which sucks because Mitsune is smoking hot in that one). I'm willing to fund a standard bounty to get better scans if you thought there was any way it was possible. Frankly, I just don't know enough about how to get old raws to know if putting up a bounty would do any good.

EDIT: I just went through the galleries again. Love Dashi 3 - 14 are actually all really good quality. 15 is hideous, while 16-18 are subpar.

250 hath is higher than any of my standard bounties, but I wouldn't hold my breath - the main problem is simply that so few people (scanners) check those bounties. Even getting new stuff is hard, getting old is... painful.

If anyone can find it being sold in a store or such, I wouldn't mind buying it and sending to Kalevala or Nominake Wan for scanning, either.

On the bright side it will be probably a year at least before we get to TL 15, since 3-14 will take a while (and if we do more than once per month, which is a stretch IMHO already, I'll be very surprised). So we probably have to years for that (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Credit goes to Tester12342 for starting a bounty initially for this project. I approached Tester12342 a month ago about possibly working together to get this one done, but another bounty hunter accepted the bounty before I did. After several weeks of no contact and no apparent progress, I was back on board!

This is another doujin that sort of presses the right buttons for me. Sexy tsundere-esque girl, hot sex, a small hint of romance, great stuff all around. This is a 21 page editing project, and it qualifies for my BONUS bounty for quality sfx redraws (PM me first).

I'll have another script ready to post in the next 24 hours or so!
