Part two of the Danganronpa Oklahoma Mixer series. This will be the first English translation on the site that actually focuses on Mahiru. The story is simple vanilla fare, but it's cute enough to pull it off. It's tough when you're the only average girl on an island filled with real standouts, but Hajime might find a way to show her she's lovely too.

Editors, this is about 25 pages worth of very easy editing. There really isn't all that much text to begin with, and it's light on sfx as well.

Viper RSR + full color = WIN. This is one of the older projects in my To-Do folder that I've just never gotten around to completing. The art is rather interesting. On the one hand, the character art is a great match for the Sogna series. On the other hand, they must have run out of time on this one, given that 2/3 of the panels have no backgrounds. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Surprisingly, the art still works for me.

Editors, this is 24 pages of moderate difficulty editing. There is a fair amount of text, though not completely overwhelming. The general lack of backgrounds will make editing many of the sfx fairly trivial. It also means we can expand bubble sizes if need be without obscuring anything at all.

As ever, EHCOVE is happy to renegotiate bounty awards for editors who can do quality sfx work.

Another Red_Piotrus special project! Handwritten doujins are more difficult and time-consuming for me, but I think it turned out pretty well. We don't get to see Sawyer from Black Lagoon very much, so this is a fairly unique one! Sawyer, Shenhua, and the magician dude whose name I can't be bothered to remember are hanging out for some team building exercises.

Editors, this should be a somewhat easy 17 pages. The bubbles are reasonably sized, and a lot of the bubbles are basically just moaning. The sfx will be trickier, as they are large and fairly decorative. This may be a project where Red_Piotrus and I need to talk about what we can reasonably expect to see for the sfx. Interested editors, just shoot us a PM and we'll figure out what works best!

I've been waiting to translate this one for years. Kenix has been a favorite group of mine forever. The Orange Pie collection and the Yugioh stuff all got translated, but for some reason only one of the 8 or 9 King of Fighters doujins ever got translated. Blasphemous! Ninnin works his usual magic here, not that it takes much effort to make Shiranui Mai hot... Virgin Kensou (pronounced Kensuu) is worrying about relationships, and Mai decides to teach him what adult love is all about!

Editors, this is a reasonably easy project. The image resolutions could be better, but the bubbles are reasonably sized. Given the resolution issue, I've elected not to translate nonessential sfx and microscopic moaning bubbles, which should simplify the job.

More Viper RSR. We're sans monsters again for this CG set, but the horse makes for a good alternative. To be honest, the art is kinda lacking here. The 3d effect is riding the dangerous edge of the Uncanny Valley for sure. That said, the concept was interesting even if the execution was flawed.

Editors, this is a pretty easy 14 page CG set. The gallery includes the textless images, so no problem there.

My first Bible Black translation! I translate Eroge myself, so this is somewhat sacrilegious to say, but I always found the anime/OVA adaptations even hotter than the game was. Three of the lead women decide to get naked in the school for a variety of contrived, yet ultimately satisfying, reasons. The art is classic Pyramid House, and full color as well!

Editors, this is 44 pages of very easy work. The images come with blank pages, so there's no need to clean anything at all. Simply position the properly typeset text, add in sfx where necessary, and you're done! The only real trick is finding room on some of these pages for all the text, given that the vertical Japanese text is often much more space efficient than horizontal English will be. Back to the land of sweet Vanilla goodness with a very nice Persona 4 doujin! I generally prefer Marie, but Naoto is not bad either. The protagonist has her dressing up in a few different outfits before the hijinks ensue. There are a couple of sweet moments, but the doujin doesn't take itself seriously enough to get overly sappy.

Editors, this project is about 30 pages, divided into two stories. The first story is fairly basic editing, while the second will be more challenging. There are some fairly tricky "Freetext" spots [see here] which will require some clever cloning. None of it is undoable, though. As a side note, the second story includes a great many microscopic panting bubbles. I translated most of these for the script, but given the size I think it would be best just to leave the smallest of them alone.

This is very nice stuff!

I have very little QC commentary at all. The biggest thing is that I really like your page 8 sfx from your "pre" rar better. I didn't realize from your post that you wanted me to pick between styles there. I thought the choice was just between "edited sfx" and NO sfx. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Given the option, the page 8 stuff was best. I liked the big, bold "jump" sfx; they made the page pop!

page 12: Torneko's bubble in panel one, the text should be split more like "U ho ho ho ho!" . Think of Santa Claus.

page 13: fat and overlaying sfx for panels 2 and 6, if you would!

page 14: fat and overlaying sfx in last panel

page 16: Fat sfx for panel 4 would be great. Other panels optional

After that, the sfx mostly become less important, so your space-saving style works okay!

The corrections are done. (check the upload-page)

At this time, there are two other Pyramid House projects.
* The Bible Black is only as easy as you say, when you ignore the shivering-, wobbling-, moving- etc.-stripes. Ok, the redrawing of those strips is easy too, but needs some time...

* The Dragon Quest IV is drawn with more details than the last story. I could do it, but with lesser redrawing and more overlaying

For the Bible Black project, I didn't actually notice that about the shivering lines. That said, I think careful use of the lasso tool + copy/paste would solve most of that.

For the other Dragon quest project, your overlaying sfx still look pretty nice to me. If we stick to the fat and overlaying style, I think that would be fine. No rush to make a decision on it, though.

Final Fantasy VII never looked so good! This is a super hot CG set for Tifa. The image resolutions are smaller than I'd prefer, but for art like this I hardly care. Tifa, Barett, Red XIII and Cid have some fun in a cabin and learn why you probably shouldn't go drinking strange potions. Or maybe you should...? Fair warning: this is NOT vanilla content!
