By the way, when do we get settings that don't reset across sessions ? It's counterintuitive, don't you think so? It's a huge annoyance to set perks and categories each time i login.

Settings are already maintained between different login sessions, unless you start messing around with cookies

Instead of having a free X downloads per day, how about having it be free x downloads per week, calculated over sliding 7 days? I'm probably in the minority that checks and downloads galleries over the weekends so that would mean I'm missing out on 5 days worth of free downloads that I would've gotten from weekdays.

To be honest I preferred the old discount modifier, but I do understand what you're trying to do with the new changes.

What does "averaged over a week" mean?? Does that mean the total number of free downloads per week is dynamic?? On a sliding 7-days or a set day??

Noticed that while upvoting your information as well. I don't know if that's intended but I'm glad it's gone, I like to do my upvoting semi-anonymously (as in not crawlable). It was "useful" to spot auto-haters but there's probably a much more efficient way to get rid of them.

The hilarious fact is I had saved months worth of credits to buy that Hath and get the auras just for the mod power back when I played HV, and now that I'm no longer playing HV, it ends up the way around and backfiring (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

More or less. 1,750 Hath at the moment - I can't recall if the original price was cheaper, but it was certainly higher than 1,000 Hath. No biggie, there isn't much use for Hath outside of HV now. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

That one's for Crystarium iirc. Just checked the history page that it takes 200+200+500=900 Haths to buy all the aura perks.

If the issue here is what I think it is, the free archives probably count towards the dynamic total as well - at the moment. Other donators may be able to confirm that, especially Catgirls with a really large amount of free downloads.

(I can help check and compare with a "neutral" score of weekly archives.)

I hope, the answer is "No" because it would actually suck if the next download I would have to pay for would be really expensive because I had lots of freebies beforehand. But I could try to wait for the beginning of another week. Do we talk about monday as beginning as a new week? I mean, if I ran out of freebies on sunday, would it be sufficient to wait for monday coming to have the next stack of freebies? (Actually, right now I haven't looked how many my account is worth. Where can I see this?)

I wish but not happening. Too many people playing HV, too much work for Tenboro and I don't have enough ponies for persuasion purposes. That did hit the mod power real hard. This + no more power boosts (refunded) + no more undeserved karmas! (fair enough but the biggest part) = pains. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Depends how download crazy someone was. I think could have downloaded 80gigs a day if I felt like it, usually I downloaded like 5-10 archives a week. It would have been possible for people to go mental and download all the hentai 30-40tb, but now its not feasible.

Indeed, this is the whole purpose of this patch. Prevent psycho-style besti doggiebagging.
