Also, as a thought since I've been seeing some technology recently that could potentially make this possible...

What if we were to be able to pull all the individual images from the H@H servers and then archive it on the client side rather than the server side? Of course, this would mean more initial server load, but considering we have the ability to view all the images one by one as well as viewing all the images on one page, I can't imagine that the load would be that much greater.

I guess it would be like a script that would grab the files, put them in memory, then archive them and then "download" the archive.

why can you no longer see who up and downvoted comments on the galleries?

If DB accesses really are the problem, a way to somewhat alleviate the problem would be cutting out the "and XY other users" part, replaced with "and (possibly) more users" and saving the relevant data in compressed form in the same table comments are saved in.
I.e., setting it up such that you don't need to query the user/... tables each time you want to load the comments.

The funny thing is how many people pay for galleries with credits. Shouldn't there be an auto market buy function for the people that are less err mentally endowed?

Upvotes and downvotes in comments also work as intended, except for possibly the hidden post link, which may eventually be fixed.
