You should tell him that $600 for 7 works is a fantastic ripoff (depends on the amount of content, but still). Not really surprised, SaHa is the most expensive translation/scanlation group if I recall correctly, and now we have many people who do it for free and better, too. I don't mind since I don't work on EH, but that would be serious competition if I did, because some of them translate much better than I do. And yes, much better than Sayo. Seems the free cost only covers up to a certain extent then it reverts to GP cost. Does that mean if you use a lot of your 'free' downloads then the size of the galleries you can download for free will decrease for the weekly period? Does that make high free allowances functionally difficult to use too lol.

Older larger galleries will then transition to not being free over time. Or is it like hearts, and some has to crack the suit first so then the cost drops after?

Wait and see I guess. 400k GP isn't too much for me but its the thought that counts, I think the same gallery was 1k before lol.

The price for the second gallery has been divided by 10. Thanks for your accidental contribution, etnwind.

Simplified version: Base cost still is 21 (42) GP per MB, + up to 50% for extremely old galleries (that 2011 case wasn't concerned). 10 times more expensive if not cached.

EsotericSatire wasn't under any modifier, just on the panda version, so double cost. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

There's really nothing trivial as long as you are :

1. An uploader
2. Not a heavy-mass-downloader

In fact i think what tenboro did is actually saving us the "less-download-and-more-upload" folks, so the bandwidth can be shared to a fitting proportion.

If you read the posts above, the costs can be up to 30 times higher (without taking the dynamic modifier into consideration as I am a number cruncher, not a hacker). You're looking at cached galleries.
(Yes, I'm now defending what I was trying to fight a while ago, but this will be fixed soon. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) )

In other words, if the galleries were not cached and on the panda, you would have to cough up ~312,460 GP and ~551,420 GP, respectively. (x20)

While you are correct on what most likely was Tenboro's intention, the end result is dramatically different.
