So a SSD VPS beats a dedicated server any day?
Their storage is a little low, but I guess it won't hurt to buy one...

no.... I meant to say that the answer to the question: which is better VPS vs dedi? is not clear cut. One of my dedi I rent now is garbage. Crappy processor, 4gb ram, 500gb old 5400rpm harddrive, and bad net connection, and in europe. It gets fewer haths per day than an asian VPS that has 1gb ram, 128gb harddrive and awesome connection. so it really depends.

So it depends on the provider then... that, too, I found [www.unixio.com] this.

It depends on logistics and hardware performance and software configuration.

One moar question, is it possible to host H@H on a dynamically-assigned public IP address? If that's not possible, is it possible to use dynamic DNS on a Linux box as a workaround?

Static IPv4 costs as much as 300 bucks per month in my country if I buy one directly from my ISP, ya see. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

I never bothered to boot the graphical on, sorry.

Does running H@H without the GUI increase the performance? If not, why would you not run the GUI?

I don't need to install X11 or anything related to it if I run without the GUI. My H@H runs on a small VPS, therefore it's not a machine I'll ever connect a screen to.
